Professional Photos or Untouch photos

Some professional shots are fine, but I REALLY want to see some candid shots, taken fairly recently, that will look like the person who opens the door. I got burnt once by "Glamour Shots" & online dating, so I'm pretty cautious about profiles that have only very polished, Glamour Shots type pics. SarahLynn's example looks like an excellent way to handle it.

Sarahlynn, I understand editing to enhance lighting and those types of things to enhance the natural. I enjoy good photographers work and thier eye to bring out the things you speak of. I'm talking more about wrinkles, scars stretch marks, things that are what I/we see.

I do 100s of pics of ladies and some time I may just need a little more light and some I have to do a lot of stuff to the pic to turn it into wow ! And I am a big believer in showing the real u in pics so I never remove tats from any of my pics in ladies unless that request ! But like I keep saying u can't please every man in this world. It I'm sure we can please most !!!

In this business it's all about representation. If you misrepresent yourself by putting up pictures you can recreate on a day to day basis or fairly close, don't be surprised to see a door slam in your face.

Us guys are buying a product. How would you ladies feel, if you bought a car off the internet and the opposite side of the car pictured was bashed in when it arrived?

Represent yourself, and all will be good. Not all girls do that.

I agree that it is the providers responsibility to give an accurate representation of what the client should expect to see but this business is also rooted in fantasy and as such there will always be some creative aspects to it including marketing images. That being said there are also cases of clear fraud. I had the unfortunate disappointment of meeting a provider a few days ago that swore her pictures were of her (not a ECCIE provider) and there were some very specific tattoos in the photos. Upon opening the door not only were the tattoos not present but the provider was not even close to the body type of the person in the pictures unless you call 50 lbs. +/- close!

I am all for providers showing what they can look like if they are all dolled up but if this is not the way that you look all the time please throw a few pictures in your showcase to show what we can reasonably expect to see when you open the door and all of us would be a lot happier. You may not get as many calls but you will reap the benefits of a happier client.

BTW this is not meant to be a knock of any kind on you Sarahlynn. You are every bit as sexy in person as your pictures suggest and you are a very talented photographer as well. Hope to see you again soon my dear.
