Rockhard6911, You've got to be kidding! You're in monger heaven. Ebauche's recommendations are tops for English-speaking free lancers. BATS is a whole lot classier and pricier. There are a ton of places in Kota. I like Malioboro a lot, although I've only been there once. Do yourself a favor and spend a night or two with Jakarta After Dark, http://www.jakartaafterdark.com/. He'll show you some of the hot spots. He seems a little pricey, but assuming you're not an asshole he'll spend the entire evening until the early morning hours showing you around. You'll undoubtedly run across one or more places you'll like and can return to without him. Take a look at internationalsexguide.info too.

This reply is prolly a bit late, but go trolling at the malls, especially the one by the Hilton off the circle or the huge mall of Jakarta (mall of Indonesia?, it has an amusement park like area on the top floor). I have lots of luck picking up a cute young local girl there. Look in either the food courts or one of the large anchor type stores there. At the large retail anchor stores, I make small talk with the little ladies working as a sales clerk- always get a number, later date and some action usually for free. Sarina mall and the hard rock are some successful pick up places too. The hard rock there were more working girls types there as opposed to the non pro girls just liking the attention they were getting from this not so slick talking buleh.

I used to go to Bali and stay on Kuta Beach. I would tell the taxi driver to bring me a girl from Denpasar to spend a few days with me. Mate that you can't find seks in Jakarta is strange for even if you try at Starbucks or in a mall you'll see dozens of women who like to talk to you , have a drink and have fun with you. Hey, I have spent serious time in jakarta. All the malls, just strike up a convo with a girl working the register. Hard Rock Cafe is full of pussy, pick one and start chatting her up, go there in the evening. Massage parlors down in jaya ancol area, bars in the nice hotels. Hell, I had a girl chasing me in my hotel one time that saw me. We used to call the girls in the hotel bars and restaurants white hunters, because they where there strictly to get a western guy to pick them up. In general, my experience with the girls there in indonesia can be had for no real money, just be a man to them, treat them nice, buy them a few drinks and or dinner and you are all set.
