Died with a needle in his arm. Not so surprising. He knew he had a problem and gave himself over to it. Such a waste.

I normally don't pay much attention to actors or musicians personal lives in the news because I don't really care about what they do in their real life I just usually enjoy their craft whether it is acting singing or whatever I never knew he had a problem with drugs. I did some acting at a local college many years ago and to see a guy with this much talent throw it away to a needle makes me mad but also very sad that he wasted it. So FootLong you are correct.

Such a waste!!!

Affects all levels of society.
I don't do them but I see it around me with the people I know.
Kills me to see them to this to themselves.

I can never understand it.

I would like to remind people that today is also the 1-year anniversary of United States Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle's death.

RIP

Media focuses too much on celebrity and hardly anything on character.

Sad, he was very talented. Unfortunately that doesn't make happiness.

So Sad, Loss of a really good actor. Too many succumb to the disease. Addiction is a disease! Once an addict always an addict. You have to remember that it has one goal and one goal only - to take your life and kill you. It's an enemy of any happiness. Once sober you can never let those demons back into your life, not even just a little. No matter how bad things get while sober, they are ALWAYS worse when your not. Proud to be -31 years drug sober!

Better get off my soapbox!

And Chris Kyle - you are remembered!

Congrats Maxx on your sobriety.

Perfect illustration of how we make choices in life and the consequences of those choices.

Too much money, too much free time,Hollywood false importance. He has three children and he could have been a real person with a real life.

Now that everyone knows about him, I'd like to let people know of another who died that no one has taken notice.
