Just to throw one in from the bleachers-
if you itemize your taxes, there is a deduction for bank fees.
I have been deducting any/all bank fees for years without any trouble. Granted, I do not fit any profile that needs to be audited. But isn't that kinda the point!
Don't get me wrong, I too, think the fees suck and am on the lookout for a truly free bank account, but alas I have never found one that works for me.
Hence, taking the deduction is a small consolation.
