Wow....look at this...and what happened in the 1970s?
In the 1970s Nixon handed over the last set of keys to the unelected Federal Reserve...

In the meantime; Americans will get tossed a bone or two (Obamacare, Obama phones, etc) and our wealth continues to be siphoned from us.

Yes, it is a rigged game in favor of the wealthy, but not because of the Fed. The Fed is creating money the rest of the world wants to use, sort of like bitcoin but the US taxpayers own the equity. The Fed is easier to hate than understand, but it being hard to understand prevents the rest of the world from realizing our paper money is backed by......nothing but the full faith and credit of the US government, rather than gold we would have to actually pay for. The rest of the world probably understands at some level we are suckering them but there really is no better alternative, except maybe Euros.

I am all for arresting the middle level drug dealers, if you can't get the king pins ( in Washington and Wall Street).

The Fed doesn't determine how wealth or income are distributed. It just provides the grease that allows wealth to be created. You're barking up the wrong tree.
You are so out of it you probably have no idea what Quantitative Easing is. That's where the intelligent debate about the Fed is focused, not on mindless slogans or 230-year-old founder quotations. Why don't you try to understand and engage in the REAL debate? You can start by reading what two of your fellow Texans who are highly critical of QE have to say:

Phil Fucking Gramm?
That is laughable.....Mr. Insider who pushed the legislation that broke down the wall between investment banking and commercial banking? The man who wrote the legislation exempting CDS from regulation.
The last man on earth that any sane person should be paying attention to.
The fed most certainly determines (along with Wall Street and Washington Elites) how wealth is distributed; you are the one who is behind the curve and doesn't understand what is going on.....what do you think QE is all about......it is about income redistribution; to the tune of about $30 billion a month.
Why don't you try reading what we can replace the FR with = try a free market approach...but you are so fucking brain washed you probably think that is what we have now; and call yourself a free market thinker !

BTW, the "real debate" is about abolishing the power of the FR.....the statists want to keep the debate limited to lesser subject matter, like "QE - too little or too much" ! You know, the kind of crap on CNBC or FBN......keep the public distracted from the real theft that is going on between Washington and Wall Street.

That's the crux of it...should our best minds address the depravity of the World's financial markets, and face the issue of how those markets are used and manipulated to concentrate power in the hands of very few, or should those minds just hop into the game and steal their share.

All markets are ''used and manipulated to concentrate power in the hands of very few'', that is the nature of man. That is Capitalism fundamental flaw...and all other forms of government!
Life is a power grab. That is all politics is....a fucking power grab!
