Expectations of reviews

From my point of view reviews are written as a guideline to help other hobbyist determine if they will click or have an interest in a particular provider. I always try to be as truthful as possible when writing a review and if someone has a problem with a review even though listed in the private men lounge have zero problem forwarding "my" review.
That said it seems certain providers on here with access to ROS seem determined to band together and attempt to blackball guys who refuse to write false glowing reviews. While anyone with a half a brain can do research and determine for themselves if someone with 20+ reviews is an asshole (I can be if pushed) or not someone new who has the misfortune of reviewing one of these ladies could find it hard to setup sessions.
With this knowledge what are your expectations of a review ie how detailed and just for purely entertainment purposes what do you do when you get a bad one. Hobbyist feel free to weight in as well.

I think the reviews should be truthful, but there are always 2 sides to the story. If I write a no review, which I have, then that is my opinion.

Reviews should be guidelines, I agree with that 100%, but that should not be all either. I always like to talk to the provider as well.

As far as providers getting the ROS and stuff from mens lounge, that is going to happen no matter what, there are always those that will try to gain favors by doing it. I just assume that everything I write on this board is known by all providers, regardless if it is private, in the mens lounge, or in a public forum. It does not change what I am going to say.

Maybe I worded the question wrong but ultimately the underlying question is should there be a open forum that allows both providers and hobbyist to rationally and respectfully discuss differences they have or address issues they have with one another. Clearly if you're not comfortable you don't post but it should help with some of the drama and behind the scene cowards that start rumors with little or no recourse available. While hypothetical and probably a long shot maybe a question that was better suited for the national board..
