I'm sure there's a better workaround for the review fee issue and a few other site directed risk items that would better protect the members/providers/owners here.
I was lucky back in July when I first broached it and Gina was very forthright and good to talk to (I like her and her approach to things). While in Canada, they have certain protections (but even those are limited), and here in our country we have no such thing. So we are fair game for RICO driven actions regarding the hobby and revenue associated with it. Any enforcement action would most likely seek a wide ranging (national) canvassing process that doesn't require warrants for individuals, but just a collective staggered one against what would be portrayed as an organized activity (platform), following that, they can do a rollup (individuals) if desired and they want to make a big media splash. I can only imagine the headline.
While it is a potential, I don't know that any agency or zealot (DA) is out to do that so this is only a theoretical view. Again, I didn't want to create a panic/paranoia as I don't think that is helpful or needed now, I only wanted to be realistic about the risk profile and give the community and owners/mods some future things to consider (modifying/adjusting/whatever).

I wish the site owners move the server to Canada, where it will be immune to the patriot act crap.
