All I can say is this: I graduated from strip clubs into "The Hobby."

My reasons were everything that SL mentioned on his posts. Why pay money when you can only look but cannot touch. I've had lap dances, but never the VIP room treatment. But, according to SL, the VIP room is nothing but upsell, and you still don't get the full package...sometimes.

I am with SL--Don't see the value in SCs.

I was out of town this week and went to a SC in an east coast city with some guys from my business meeting.

Definitely had some fun, met several interesting ladies, saw some beautiful lady parts, and received some very hot dances in VIP; but nothing you would not get at sitting out front at Ricks, YR, or P-10 in Austin.

Bottom line, I walked out with a set of blue balls and less $250. Just guess that I need to visit the SCs every so often to remind myself why it is so much better to develop professional relationships with proven providers, such as many of the lovely ladies we have here in the Austin area.

And ladies, I really do enjoy the repeat visits once we have developed some trust and our sessiona mature to expanded menus.

I don't see myself doing the SLAMDANGO® in a both with others walking by and a time keeper at the entry! So if I went back I thinck I'd have cards made up..

While there's some crossover, the hobby and strip clubs are different experiences.

Even if you've got the cash and a number of reliable providers you can call, there's still some value in the strip club.

Many of us in the strip club aren't there for actual sex, not even a BJ. For most of us, if you want to have sex, strip clubs aren't the answer.

Less legal risk.
Less social risk.
Less risk of assault, theft, or blackmail.
No rush to get finished with you and get on to the next client. No rush to finish before the hour is up.
Easier to walk away if things go bad.
More ladies to look at.
More convenient to do it socializing with friends.
Music, drinks, food.
No performance anxiety.
For some, the thrill of the chase is part of the fun.

Strip clubs are a more social experience where you get to hang out with the girls more and you can also bring your buddies and have a few drinks.
I don't look at them as a serious place to try to hook up with a girl, otherwise you're in for disappointment.
Quite frankly I don't know why some of them are so popular.
But I went to places like LS when they have $3 drink specials and $10 lap dances you could spend $100 and party for 2-3 hours with pretty girls while drinking Grey Goose.

You can always get some numbers too and try for OTC.
The only real annoying part is when the girls aren't so pretty and you have to make sure they know you won't spend any money on them.
OR when you go and most of the pretty girls are already hanging out with others.

Shrug I've never had a problem being allowed to touch at any strip club. I guess YMMV.

While I doubt anyone ever kept the "average" you would be shocked!! I have seen him operate over the years and he seldom misses. I think that the thing that sets Whispers apart for a lot of the guys here is patience. He is very patient when he sees something that he wants to bag and it works!!!!!
