Most recently I went to a grand opening of a strip club. I attended because "two" providers were waitresses at this strip club. The Club (Texas Saloon) was very nice. So you have a seat and a beautiful lady approaches and starts talking to you. Objective.... lap dance ($30-$40) or you can walk up to one of the girls on the "four" stages and take a close look as you tip her money. The mostly the "FULL COURT PRESS" to get you to go to the VIP room where Prices go from $100-$1,000. And what do you get? The same thing, a lap dance and different champagnes. I started thinking... REALLY? Are you fucking kidding me?

So can someone explain this to me? Why would someone do this? Do the guys not know that there are hot escorts available for $150-$200 for full service?

Obvious. it's pride. its an idea that says if you have to pay for it your somehow less of a man.

I still don't get it? If you PAY $150-$200 for a half hour and get satisfied or go to a strip club and pay $100-$1,000 and NOT GET SATISFIED same half hour? Your still paying either way.... YES?

pride doesn't have to make sense. flaunting your money and having women throw themselves at you is different then paying a woman to sleep with you.

I have enjoyed both providers and strip clubs in the past. A provider is a sure thing obviously. I have had experiences from outstanding to fairly average. Go to a strip club and the eye candy is fantastic. Have some drinks, fondle a few women, maybe get lucky ITC or OTC. I agree that the money spent at a club can quickly get out of hand. Up to each of us to decide whether or not it is worth it.

By the sounds of that club, it seems pretty high dollar and classy, for a strip club. I, for one, would only go to a club like that if I had the money to afford it; which I don't. So I can really only speak to the local NW Austin clubs, mainly P10, Sugars, and XTC.

Now, on average, I may drop $.2-$$ for a meeting with someone. That typically gets me 0.5Hr, maybe an Hr, just depends. Mostly 1/2 hrs though. In alot of situations, I leave very satisfied. Others, whether the session was good or not, the 1/2 hour blew by so quick, that to some degree it's hardly memorable. But I go into this situation with an intent and I know what I will get.

On the flip side, when I go to a club (unless it's XTC), I'm not sure of what I will get, satisfaction wise, but some of the things I know I can get: At P10 they have very excellent lunch buffets and specials. Might as well enjoy a good meal, that's as cheap as, or cheaper than some restaurants, and look at women at the same time. You see several women and get to size them all up. You can spend time and talk to the ladies. If you don't get caught up or sucked into dances too quickly, you could have several interactions with various girls with minimal investment. At XTC, it's BYOB, so I often meet friends and bring beer and liquor and we can watch the football game, drink, have a good time, while looking at some ladies from time to time. And finally, if you have gotten to know the club and the ladies, or you get lucky, you could end up getting a good portion of what you could get from a lady here. Sure, it's not in privacy and comfort, but to me its more, spur-of-the-moment raw and intense since there's the element of getting caught. So I may spend the same $.2-$$ all said and done (entry fees, liquor, tips, dances), but I usually spent 3-4 hours, had a good time, saw alot of nice ass, and probably at least got a BJ or HJ. Often, I feel that I got just as much for my money, just in a different form.

To each there own, but that's my $0.02

For the experienced SC aficionado the club is like a Buffet.... you get to see everything available presented in it's most appealing manner...... you have a little of this... a little of that....... and those of us that know.... can identify which selections are available for dining in or take out..... I seldom spend more than $30 in a club when I am there and I can usually land a dancer or a waitress for play outside the club for less than any of the advertising providers..... MOST of the gals pulled from the clubs are hotter than the menu allows for here. AND they are no where NEAR the volume..... Many strippers are simply UTR Low Volume Providers.

For others,,,,,,, Well.... There is that saying I have repeated over the years.... "If it wasn't for strippers and hookers a lot of guys would never have a woman in their life."

For a lot of guys, the club is the closest they ever get to a really hot chick like we bang every day..... For as long as their game or money holds up they can get the attention they crave.... A lot of them are still being "faithful" to their SOs and "looking" is not "cheating" in their minds.

I always thought that their should be a group of volunteers that would go around to men in the clubs and hand them a pamphlet with website addresses for local Escort Services and boards like ECCIE with information as to what they COULD have for their money.

Maybe we could get a Govt Grant to better inform those guys

Very good point and often overlooked. Most of the friends I go to clubs with don't know that I'm on this board. Most of them (as far as I know) are looking, maybe a little touching, but not cheating. So a SC is the closest thing to that satisfaction without going overboard.

Work all details out before getting up from your table. You can get 30 min in club for a benji. Try to get out of club they usually go multi hr for your admission. Remember they are hustlers by profession!

Ok, so I spent a lot of time chatting with this "dancer". She had been dancing for just under two months. I asked about pricing? She had eight people come over to the table to give pricing. The place was so new.... only the manager had the prices. I thought WTF? So I get a tour of the place. Basically I'm told you get your $30-$50 lap dances in public. Then if you want a "LITTLE" privacy you go to the VIP room. Only private if your the only one in there. The prices range from $100-$1,000 the only difference for that HALF HOUR is the champagne.

After the tour which the little honey took with me. She tells me that "I" would get the same dance in the back as in the front. Just longer. So I ask why would I do that? Her answer... "because you like me". I told her that wasn't going to happen and she should try to move on to her next victim.... I mean customer. LOL I asked what I owed her and she said nothing and gave me a kiss. And she was off....

never been my scene have not been to one in 15 years and it just seemed goofy to me ...... used to go to places in DC with friends a while back and it was fun...Good Guys in DC used to be fast and to the point... went to some biker chick places in fl that were fun . and I'm old enough to remember "the block" in Baltimore... always good for trippy fun..
But modern day gentlemen s clubs ive been too just seem like overt hustles... If I want to play games....there is no shortage of hot young ladies with various needs.

Something I forgot to mention... the dancer told me in NO uncertain terms that she would meet outside the club. She is working her way through school. She also stated more than half of the girls were married, had kids and their hubby's were right there in the club. That kind of made me feel weird. And for the record... this chick was super hot. I would have paid $300-$500 for an hour with her.
