The Three C's of bondage are as follows:
Comfort, Control, Circulation.
Comfort: You are going to be there a while, so make sure you aren't in an awkward position.
Control: Related to the first, in positions other than laying on your back, make certain that any body part that is bound can be easily controlled and balanced. Eg: arms bound behind the back, then held aloft. A momentary loss of balance, and there goes a rotater cuff! Ouch!
Circulation: The most important of all. I really don't recommend using hand cuffs, not even the furry ones, unless you aren't planning on being bound for very long. The metal cuts into the bone at the wrist and can cut off circulation to the hand. Ouchie. Rope is best, but it is also important to be aware of circulation points. Don't just wrap the rope once around the hands or feet. That puts all of the pressure focused on a single point, and loss of circulation can happen very quickly. Instead, make several revolutions around whatever is being bound, wrists, ankles, etc and distribute pressure over a broader area. Be sure the rope does not overlap itself, and that the rope fits loosely but securely. Once the rope is tied off, feel fingertips or toes for warmth, and observe to make sure that she skin is not going dusky or blue.
Bondage can be wonderful! But it can also cause harm, so its important to use some common sense and care!
This is a thread from the Another Realm section. There are some AWESOME bondage pics here to give you some ideas of the limitless variety of ways a person can be bound. Some of these pics are pure art!
