ABC's Jon Karl asked the question on whether or not the White House would negotiate with the House. Jay Carney says that this no way that they will negotiate. Karl then risks his career by saying if they won't even consider negotiation then it is the White House that is threatening a shut down.

You proved my point again...it is about defunding the government. Obamacare is not the end all, be all of the universe. We got along without it for many years. I laughed to day when I heard Obama defending his program by saying that 30 million people NOW have healthcare. That is not true (except in the mind of Obama) massive hoards have not recieved any healthcare but many are loosing theirs, the GAO has stated that about 30 million people will still not have healthcare even afterwards. Sounds like we are going to spend over a trillion dollars for absolutely nothing. Sounds like a democrat business deal to me. Obama also pointed out what I have been saying, this was, WAS, about getting healthcare to people and not about making it affordable. You've all bought into the lie and then spread it like herpes.
