Go to any women's store in the US and ask the help for a size 3 anything. It's actually not a size of dress. Weird ey? I guess it really means, depending on the store / garmet cut / sizing bias (see "vanity sizing") the lady is sometimes a size 2, sometimes a size 4. Does it matter? I guess not. 3 just seems like a popular size in ads. Never mind.

Hmmmm....the only time I see odd # are in jeans (1, 3, 5, 7 etc).

Kids/children's probably right but wouldn't know .... adults definitely (Forever 21, Delia's etc)
