What's the process for determining fake reviews?

I know there must be a method of filtering out a fake reviews in case someone posts one on a girl and she protests....

I also know securities have to be in place to prevent all girls from claiming any bad review is fake....

So, how do you tell? If an S.O. gets pissed, or a competitor makes a male account to defame their target here, how is it proven to be fake?

Not a simple solution. Your male and female mods are you friends in this. Since a lady is not allowed to see TRotS, it becomes complicated. If someone shares the contents of TRotS with you, you are both subject to administrative action. If a review is posted that you believe to be false - such as when you have not seen a hobbyist - you should first let the mods know, then you can post a rebuttal in the coed discussions, as well as in the lady's only areas. Bringing it into the open via a coed discussions post is important. It does several things. First, it alerts people to a potentially false review., which a mod can remove from your list of reviews. Second, it allows discussion, which can either provide clarification from the poster of the review or identify him as a phony. Finally, it warns others about someone whose legitimacy is in question.

As I said, not a simple solution, but there are things that can be done.

Thanks JustaGuy, that helps a bit. It's a little unsettling that so much work goes into our reps here, and anyone could just make an account and say whatever they wanted. Although the majority would probably see through it, I could still see it as a problem.

Nope, just wouldn't understand why a lady would want to create a handle to write herself fake reviews? Seems kind of pointless and tacky if you ask me.

I can, however, see a snarky woman creating another male persona to make an ass out of herself though.
