As I said earlier, if this Facebook page were a provider's page, I would spend myself into the poor house!

Remember beyond looking good and being healthy right now, you need to make sure you will too at 40, 50, 60 etc. I have seen so many athletes just blow when aging, precisely because their body lost the capacity of processing certain food/junk.

I would agree, if you are only controlling your weight through diet. I'm in my fifties, and take in a huge number of calories every day. As long as you exercise vigorously, your metabolism will consume most of what you put into your body, even if it is complex carbs. The complex carbs do make it a little more difficult. Everything in moderation.
I have a close female friend that teaches an advanced spinning class every weekday morning and works out every day before going to work. She is just as lean as any girl on that site, and she is in her mid forties, and takes in 4000 calories a day.

+10 !!
yup. with you on this one. The damage would be considerable. On the down side with the bar set this high I would have a hard time considering anything less.

That's the problem. I diet and exercise too. 6 days a week. on my fifties too. But every interruption (knee surgery, vacations, blue water sailing races) I just blow even with my calories intake down. And as you know at this age getting back on track is a real pain, literally.
I think the secret is: balance. Keeping a body educated about processing the different type of food is important.

I have complete admiration for anyone who has a nice six pack abs. That is not an easy accomplishment.

You're right Max, they are the devil...but devilishly good at times.
Do some cross fit for about 2 weeks and you'll lose those 10lbs. Or try the Spartacus workout too. Look for Spartacus 4.0 on YouTube. Great circuit workout! PM me for other ideas.

My wife has been working with a nutritionist and trainer. The results came when she started to eat right. I second that statement that the abs are cooked in the kitchen.
She is eating the same thing everyday and its working. She will be on the stage Spring 2014. I am proud of her commitment. I couldn't do it.
But she really cares about the way she looks.
On topic, those ladies look fantastic and I would welcome any one of them to my bed.
I think its sexy. Not to mention show a great deal of discipline which counts a lot to and
how I spend my money in the hobby.
I wish we had provider who looked like those. BOY BOY BOY ..how nice that would be!

I'm not fond of the rippled ab look on women - Max is far more my style. But then, I'm not into guys, either.

I'm digging this one. Love the athletic look, but too much is not attractive at all. My new ATF will be on this FB page soon... lol.

Abs don't look ripped unless, male or female, you are trying to flex them. Many people carry water weight in their mid section. Even body builders need to shed this water before a show, so they take diuretics and pee it out. Not recommended for the average person. Cut back on sugars including bread and pasta. Drink lots of water and your mid section will shrink. Don't workout the abs, just workout. Too much ab workout will actually make your stomach grow. Hope this helps.

Hope this helps? Not really, some of it is absurd. You can always see my abs, I work hard to insure that. And that is despite any water weight I may be carrying. An ab workout will not make your stomach grow, that is absurd. Diet will indeed make the abs more pronounced, and in a few RARE cases someone may have nice abs without ab exercises, but most people have to dedicate a lot of crunches to their workouts to develop and maintain nice abs.
