Thanks for all the suggestions. I guess cost is less of a factor than not getting shot or robbed. Just wanted a place that takes cash, needs no ID. You have all been helpful in one way or another.

There are 3 or 4 motels on 40 hywy that will fit your criteria and they are safe.

Bob I think it is actually shut down, I know paradise shut down and they were owned by the same people and the last time I drove by the 4 acres it looked more run down then usual.

Give it a rest man. All the original OP wanted was some cheap motels and cause someone asked you a question on another thread you follow me over here. I believe you said something about "anger issues" in one of your first responses back to me. Maybe, now I do not want to accuse you of any OCD behavior but damn man....

what ever happened to the Clark over by the Boulevard Drive Inn? If you couldn't find a girl to meet you there, all you had to do was ask the old lady at the front desk when you checked in.

That's possible. I drove by it and it looks rather abandoned but sometimes it's hard to tell. I used to stay in the Cleopatra room. Allegedly.

I notice my favorite bookstore next door is no more. Man, if those walls could talk. Between there and the bar across the street I'm surprised I made it out of the 80's.
