Communication is important and so is etiquette, even on a board of this nature. So, yes it's important for a gentleman to contact a lady and state what's on his mind in a manner which at least makes sense. I'll not consider any gent who wants to back and forth PM me as if it were text messaging, those, who just by their statements/questions tell me all they did was look at the pics and basic info, and guys who are full of themselves in one way or another.
The first kind of gent is a wishy washy time waster. The Multiple questions guy tells me the gent is "Just not into ME", which I'd prefer my friends to be, but rather he assumes because the pics are something he likes, he can do his "biz" with me and that takes care of that. I want to see hobbyists, not just any ole Joe Blow who found the board and believes he hobbies. Hobbyists do their research and normally schedule with reputable providers. Joe Blow does no such thing. Hobbyists normally do not have to ask basic questions, which are readily available in/on ads, showcases, websites and various forums. The last includes the all knowing pompous ass and the "I'm Mr America" guy. (Does all knowing pompous ass really need a description here, or do we all get the gist?) Mr. America....Hey I'm a great looking guy and I can %^&* like you've never been ^&*('d before. My first thoughts....really? Do I seem that inexperienced and unworldly to you? And...as with women, good looking guys are a dime a dozen....what's your point? Do I seem shallow or does the fact you believe you're a great looking guy supposed to be some sort of pre-screening tool you think I might use? hmmmmm
Darn it....I almost forgot....Pushy Guy. He knows what ya offer, but he wants more than others are offered. Pushy guy insists he gets what he wants and I should offer it because he wants it! (After all...he is a hobbyist and I'm just a lowly provider).. just tell him how much more it will cost him. OR..he insists he's a great guy (inferring others aren't), therefore my own reasoning and my preferences should not apply to him, even after I've firmly stated, in as polite a manner as I can muster, that he in fact does not always get what he wants and certainly not from me. It leads me to believe others did give in and for some crazy reason he is under the assumption that all women/providers have the exact same thoughts, decision making skills, and are incapable of saying no to him if he just keeps pushing. (I don't state it like that, but I sure would like to sometime) Once I see this occurring, I simply stop responding.
To the OP: We haven't met that I'm aware of, but I've seen you on the board. IMO, which hasn't been solicited, is it possible that you might have just let it go when the first gent posted? I suppose it could be that there are those who must have their daily dose of drama, regardless of whether they write right? <---punny LOL
However, I have met Old_T. He's NOT Old at all. He's VERY intelligent, has common sense out the wazoo, is easy going, kind, generous, and works many long hours with much traveling. He, truly is a gentleman of the highest caliber, IMO. Also, IMO..... you shouldn't "dis" folks with facts that are not in fact, facts...ya know? Take note of the kind of responses he does not post even though he could if he so chose. It appears to me, and I imagine many others, that he has loads of restraint. Something in which I am sorely lacking as evidenced by my opinion and knowledge of the actual facts I'm going on about. Especially since I stated I was simply gonna answer the damn question....LOL My Bad
