TCB by 3d Party: Use of Professional Screener/Scheduler?

While it may have started out as an infomercial I think this took a good turn...

To me it makes no difference if there is a screener/scheduler involved or not, as long as it cuts out the NCNSs and the direction/scheduling mishaps.

BUT, I am also strong on being in contact with my lady of the Hour/Day before meeting her, preferably before I leave to meet and to let me know she is ready and eagerly waiting for me, LOL

I schedule ahead 2-7 days, confirm by text the day before and two hours before, and text when I'm on my way.

And may I say, Maxeen, your screener does a good job for you.

I stay away from providers with screeners,bookers,management,d rivers,and pimps,because like agencies their rates are higher. Why should I pay 50 more because they are unorganized? Not my problem,til I choose to schedule one,and suddenly it becomes one. Independent baby!

Lets call her "Belinda". Belinda needed to get into the business because of a break up with hubby and a young one to care for. Her RW job wasn't enough to cut it. Belinda was AMAZINGLY beautiful...10 anyway you slice it. She signed up with "scheduler" to help her stay on top of everything, but found the scheduler was maxing her out even outside her listed availabilities. This caused a lot of angst in the community and the scheduler laid it all at Belindas feet as her issue.

This uncomfortable arrangement continued for some time, Belinda found there was VERY little screening as she was put with guys she would never have seen on her own. They were also told menu items she didn't agree to. You see, the scheduler was about getting their cut more than protecting Belinda.

Eventually Belinda, albeit not the best at TCB, decided to strike out on her own. You would think a simple "Hey thanks, but I'm going to do this alone" would have severed the ties that bind with the scheduler, wouldn't you? No...said scheduler had "decided" that Belinda was not at all ready to set out on her own and blasted Belinda personally and professionally. Constant calls...emails...PM's...told clients that Belinda was bad news. This continued for WEEKS...

Understand by now Belinda was a hot property, and the scheduler was no longer getting a stake in that market. Rather than realizing it was Belindas decision, scheduler felt some "indentured servitude" was in order.

When Belinda discussed with Toyz...Toyz called it what it was...a pissed off pimp...and advised Belinda to stat the course, which she did. She now lives happily every after with no further harassment from the scheduler.

So, this is just the other side of the coin. What is the schedulers motivation? Basically to market its product and collect all the fees it can. Who pays the fees? Well, either Belinda eats it, or Bob Hobby does. Who do you think it rolls down to?

Does a "scheduler" INSURE there are going to be no TCB problems as they are basically just a 3rd party mouthpiece?

Toyz raises some good points, with thanks. Although by using this particular anecdote Toyz conflates pimp (working on some commission or revenue "sharing" arrangement that dried up when provider goes indie) with a professional screener/scheduler.

Presumably the screener gets paid based on time ($19/hour?), not commish? At least this would remove (or greatly minimize?) an inherent conflict of interest. Presumably the provider can give commish to scheduler/screener for 2d, 3d, 4th etc. meetings, which would incentivize screener/schedule with clients who repeat? By excluding first meet from a commish, makes it less likely screener/scheduler will send in Hubert Hobby?

All this feedback is illuminating.

Let's see, if I was to rent some service but don't want to take the time to do the sales/marketing ....
I would favor a set fee (per month) and impose strict rulezzzzz (I mean contract stipulations):
1) Minimum rentals per month or sales/marketing fee becomes less for that month.
2) Strict set of guidelines. Rental only during certain days and hours and a certain maximum per day. You want to schedule outside these, you need my explicit permission

I am sure there is more ... but it's a start ....

I did not change my rate when I hired a screener. I was relieved to have the assistance and happy to pay for her help.

I'm sorry to hear about "Belinda" and her situation. This does sound more like a pimp than a screener/scheduler.

As I see it, a screener/scheduler is there to meet the needs of the lady she is helping. A good screener/scheduler is there to help the provider and makes sure she is in complete control of her schedule and the things she wants to do or not do. The provider calls the shots and the screener/scheduler is there to make it happen and ensure her safety as best as possible by screening thoroughly. Screener/scheduler is also responsible for treating each and every client with absolute respect. Her job is also to make sure that communication is ongoing. Always striving to make the experience as smooth as possible.

If a provider has a handler/screener/pimp etc... I don't want to see them. I like to be able to talk to the lady before I see her especially if I have intimate questions before our meeting.

More importantly, I read a thread a while back where a hobbyist had been seeing a provider for over a year and they had a lot of x rated text conversations only to later find out "to the hobbyists horrifying dismay" he had been texting back and forth with the providers SO the whole time because he was her screener/pimp what ever you want to call it.

I have screened for many and still do for a very few, due to my real world career. I am actually contacted by ladies or they have been referred to me by well known hobbyist.

For me, and I can only speak for myself...I do not set a ladies rate, I go by what she sets for herself. I ask her what her do's and don'ts are and stick to that, I ask her what her preferences are and stick to that. I ask her what kind of volume she wants and stick to that. I like to think of myself as more of her personal assistant. I will screen, set, post ad's and send area of location and then give said providers number out to call her or text for the hobbyist to get the rest of the direction.

Like Maxeen mentioned some ladies actually do get very overwhelmed, not sure how to screen, don't trust their screening and or sometimes have another job and can't juggle both.

Codybeast you are right and an very intelligent individual to say the least.. one would have to be a MORON to release RW personal info to anybody in the hobby. Surely, we DON'T have MORONS in our playground do we?

While I agree using a professional screener/scheduler can be useful.. ultimately, each girl should have the final say on who she sees. Unless you truly trust the screener/scheduler 100% its not in anyones best interest to partake in such practice.

Its a catch 22..

if the screener is good at his/her job, (you are safe) clients will HATE it.
if the screener lets everyone through (you are NOT safe) clients will LOVE it.

I can see the benefit, yes. To be honest, I just started and sometimes I get overwhelmed. I suppose that it would be nice to have someone else do all that.

However, I feel like the conversation itself is also part of the screening process. If the fella isn't polite over text/email/phone, should I expect a leopard to change its spots? Not to mention that I would rather have the peace of mind that comes with screening to your satisfaction.

First I apologies if what I am saying holds no bar…….I read a bit and being new to this really did not understand what you guys are saying. IF I do understand what you are saying let me bring another point. A screener is fine, BUT I am insulted when they say they are the person I think I am talking to. Everything that has been said means nothing. I am in the business world and all I have is my word. I really hate reading this thread…AM naïve to this…..Just can’t trust anything in this business it seems to me. AGAIN, maybe I read it wrong……

I feel, if you are to advertise yourself as "Independent" its a MUST to (learn) screen alone! Sometimes though when a woman becomes "established"...it nolonger becomes "frowned" appon to have a P.A.

Don't expect woman to have stellar TCB skills with less than a year under her belt. ....just my 2 cents....
