How about until the House is no longer tainted with TP crazies, the fight isn't done.
I have no problem with Republicans. Just aren't any any more.
Please, someone start another thread about the Libyan IRS!

That's the whole idea of leaving the idea of " Impeachment" out of the game. A GOP candidate doesn't have to remind voters of the Democrats misdeeds they already know what they are. The better strategy would certainly be to stay on track with the issues. One good thing for any GOP candidate is he/she is coming into this without any history or a political past that can be judged or scrutinized but Clinton is. I think one big mistake Republicans have made is flirting with issues that don't pertain to the population as a whole such as Gay Marriages and Abortion. They need to present issues that pertain to everyone not just certain groups. This country is heading for a political tragedy. The Democrats have been walking between the raindrops a bit to long. I sense they are about to get drenched.

OK, so how exactly does that puff piece about Hillary winning in 2016 constitute "an example of the Democrats leaving [the GOP] the hell alone" - which is what I asked for, remember?

First of all I am a Democrat not a Republican. The only real issue you mentioned that is worth anything is the economy. Jobs and immigration aren't that important without a strong economy. Jobs can't be created without a strong and stable economy, cause you won't be able to fill the jobs you set out to create in the first place. That's already obvious. Immigration has always been an issue and yet to be reformed to where it doesn't impose more burden on the growth of the job market. Illegal immigrants working here place a wedge between American based companies and the consumer.

sorry for the assumption .. some here have me confused with a democrat
regardless, poll the entire country and pit any rightwing conspiracy, or (IMO) irrelevant concerns such as gay marriage against any of the 3 issues I mention and read the results.
Questions for john q public
would you rather kill gay marriage
or have a good economy
would you rather prove Obama knew about the IRS targeting Tea Party groups
or have a good job
etc
just sayin

I agree. In the long run a strong economy and a good steady job take precedent over Gay Marriage or any knowledge Obama had over an IRS scandal. But that's what we see and that's what both parties waste their time on the most. Who can trip up who to gain power. Unfortunately as voters we look for the same thing.

If the facts point that way then impeachment is the only choice. To not impeach for a political advantage is the kind of political play that the democrats are always accusing the GOP of doing. The facts will come out eventually and we shall see where they end up.
All too often in politics one or the other will excuse a turd of things they did wrong because of the distaste of the legal procedure. Problem is that turds tend to rise to the top again and again. Elliot Spitzer, Anthony Weiner, and Hillary Clinton have all escaped punishment by resignation. Then they come back to haunt those who left them alone. If a person is guilty then take them down, brand them for their actions, and let the world know that we don't tolerate the turds being on top. At least that is the dream.

Dont forget Richard Nixon.
And I don't think you can impeach a non-elected official, can you?
finally, to play the impeachment card is risky because if you lose, you're fucked. In fact, I don't think anybody takes you or any Republican howling for impeachment seriously. You think those spineless fucks in DC will?
