Perfect example, i was going to see a provider and there was a new auto accident on 1604 a few miles ahead of me. Traffic became a stand still and I went no where for 2 hrs. I call provider and let her know situation. She said no biggie and we rescheduled. I can see how it's disappointing for her to go thru the time/effort to get ready but why charge me for some douchebag driving a BMW not looking where he's going and causes a monster wreck and cock blocks me?

Whether a cancellation fee is right or wrong, it only matters to the provider's business model.
If it works, she will retain it and we the consumers will see more adoptions of this business approach.
If it does not work, and has a negative effect on her business, she will drop this model.
To an extent I can understand if she footed a cash outlay for a local notell as an incall for this one appointment, and then shit got in the way. If the customer cannot make it later, then yes, reimbursement for the room (or purchased costumes, toys or spirits) should be expected or an agreement should be made.
For sunk in costs (regular incall, no purchased special requests) and this customer has not made this a habit, then maybe this is the cost of doing business.
One of our ladies that I was on friendly terms with, contacted me after she had made a GUARANTEED date with one of our local schleps. The date was set for Early a.m. and she had to rent a room the prior evening. Said schlep did not show up and did not call. She was out the $ for the incall.
For someone doing this as a side job to make the bills she had to use her car payment for the room, and then couldnt make her payment. I made sure she made the best of her lemonade.
My advice to her was either get the money for the room upfront or require early morning requests to provide the room.
My opinion, unasked, if there is a layout of expenditures for an appointment and we as customers cannot meet the commitment within reasonable expectations, then yes, we owe recompense.
However, no money lost, no harm, no foul, this is business.
As stated previously, the young lady will determine what this cancellation fee policy really means to her business.

I've often wondered about how it's enforced without it being a complete turnoff.
My cancellation policy hasn't had to be used but twice in 7 years. Due to the nature of their business, they could be called away for business at any time. After cancellation #2 from each, I require a deposit to even consider the appointment set.

My guess would be that it applies more so to NCNS cancellations than the "shit happens" cancellations.
In theory, it should cut down on the amount of appointments setup by the dreaded time wasters or guys with cold feet.
If that were true, then most of us have nothing to worry about.

I simple wont see a guy who doesn't make an effort to contact me and sets a appointment again. Unlike the guy who so rudely Ncns me I will politely decline a session.
If a gent cannot make it and considers my time, sure we can keep trying to meet because in life Shit happens! No doubt Amelia !!!
If I cancel for whatever reason I hope gent understands and will still see me!!!
Fair?

Only 1 no show in the hobby over the years Moss? That is impressive... i figured guys got blown off in that manor a LOT more often... wow!
Gents... If a provider cancels an appt with you or vice versa, what time frame is acceptable and what is a non acceptable ( hour, day, 10 mins... etc ) and if this happens do you get upset? Also, if you reschedule do you assume the iniative of contact or wait to hear from the girl?
Foxy...
What caused you to charge this fee and has it been effective with the ncns or cancellations? How do you collect the fees?
