Can not agree more! I do my best to respond to a reference check within an hour to two hours of receiving the initial inquiry. LBD's reference checks are always professional, and courteous.

To add to what Lilly said, ensure that your references will actually recommend you! I can't tell you how many prospective clients I've had to turn down because their reference refused to give a positive reference. It's just baffling to me how a gentleman can leave a session not knowing the Provider would NEVER recommend them.

Some references refuse to respond. It's better to check with your references before you list them with another provider. I recently had 0/2 references reply and had to use another method to get the client screened.

Maybe you did not pass screening or your references did not respond.
You might consider joining P411, Preferred 411. It is a screening service that makes screening much faster and easier.
