Reviews ... a comment for both the ladies & gents
Hey folks,
I made the following comments previously in a review (ladies I know that you know you can not comment int he review sections) and I realized that it might be appropriate to have a serious conversation about this in the Coed section.
There are some who write reviews and others who do not. There are providers who want them and others not so much or not at all. There are ladies who want reviews who may or may not share what they want posted and there are those that are crystal clear about the contact info that they want shared!
There are gents that review and who tend to be sickly sweet and refuse to give negative reviews (1) for fear of retribution (and this DOES happen - ladies that is a mistake and a poor business practice) (2) because they don't want to hurt someone's feelings.
And there are gents who are generally negative ... I have said this before, if you can't find what you want then find a different hobby!
We all have good days and bad. We all have positive and negative experiences. If a lady has been upfront and honest with me; is who she says/portrays herself to be; provides what she says she will or goes above and beyond my expectations then the review is going to be stellar. If its just a great experience then the review and recommendation are going to be good and a yes! If she isn't who she says she is, if the experience is sub par, or if for some reason I feel that i have been mislead, then 99% of the time the review will be negative! But it WON'T be cruel/mean/or degrading to the provider! NEVER!
Now, having opened this up (and myself to criticism), lets talk about the value of ALL reviews, positive and/or negative!
This site is designed for entertainment purposes ONLY and the reality is that what is portrayed should reflect the author's experience. If you had a good experience and your expectations were met then you write a positive review. If they were not met, the lady was NOT who she portrayed herself to be (I don't like bait & switch or fake pics and will walk - No offense intended ladies but ... forgive me for expecting what I expect) or if things are rushed or the service are not what you are expecting or are just plain ... bad ... then a negative review SHOULD be written!!!
Lets talk for a moment about nasty, mean, or inaccurate reviews of providers ... that's a problem at another level and a reflection on the person writing the review! There is no reason for it other then to make the reviewer feel good about themselves at the expense of another ... IMHO, THAT is disturbing and a real shame to read! CAN/WILL a review like this still be evaluated and stand? Yes, unless it is determined to be fake. Will individuals comment on it ... I sure hope so!
So ladies & gentlemen ... what are YOUR thoughts?
DD

I have read what you said about good and bad reviews i would never give a bad review about any provider unless she puts clients in danger we all like diffrent things just cause i dont like her dont mean that somene else wont i have seen providers that got a bad review and i had a blast to me reviews are a guide to what could be on the menu if you play it right if you go in and treat them like a whore then they will just go through motions but if you go in and treat them like a lady then you get her best so if you dont have a good time look at what you did wrong and fix it these ladies have enough to worry about dont give them any more just a thought

Well put, DD.
As someone who no longer carries his own weight, I appreciate any review, particularly one that is forthcoming but fair (realizing even that often entails courage).

I'll have more to say but I cannot and will not agree that the source of every bad review is on the reviewer. There's lots of good in your posts but we all have a lot to worry about and the person who shouldn't be getting more to worry about is the customer.

whats wrong with "no" review. its a YMMV, and I would think many readers have found others with about the same taste of what they like. As one member got blacklisted for a "yes" review, WTF you can not even give a "not my cup of tea" any more.

The dynamics of this community and reviews, in particular, can be pretty complex. But I believe DD provides some good rules of thumb.
I, myself, don't review. What’s good for me may not be good for the next person or vice versa. The relationship and interaction between two people is synergetic. There are just too many variables.
What we’re left with, however, should be civilized ways of describing less than desirable experiences without being cruel and/or nasty.

ahhh most of the "no" reviews have been civilized. Many others over react, mostly males.

Ha, my reviews probably fall under this category. Not because I refuse to give out bad reviews though, it's just that so far on ECCIE I've been incredibly lucky to have a lot of great experiences. *Knock on wood* I did have a couple of bad experiences prior to being on ECCIE. Those would have definitely gotten a NO.
The only reason I haven't reviewed the last two ladies I've seen (Both GREAT experiences) is because I don't really desire PA at the moment.

My take if a provider is a danger or put me in a dangerous place, it will be an alert, not a bad review. I have never a cash and dash, or pimp at the incall.
I have a positive oulook on life, and my reviews will reflect how much I enjoy things. I really can't think of any bad experiences with any escort. Life is good.
For myself, I seldom write reviews of a an average experience. I may add "sufficient" to be in between yes and no, in the future, time will tell
If I put a "absolutley", I feel the provider is above average, and/or exceptional.
I would appreciate a few more catagories, especially the geek side of me, they should be as follows bad to worse
1) I should stayed home and jacked off
2) I should have screwed my wife
3) she was ok, but I should saved my donation for someone else
4) she was ok
5) yes
6) my tanks are empty
7) I want to fuck her again tomoorrow
8) I feel like that salmon the just spawned, please let the bear eat me
9) I was in the presence of aphrodite

My ECCIE Reviews
|
Hmm. As a provider, and someone who can't read the ROS (although you can sometimes tell the gist from the comments thereafter? Like, if there's a lot of "I'm sorry that happened to you, man," I tend to assume it's a cash-and-dash), there's a limit to how much I can really add to this. But I think I can take a lot from, strangely enough, Amazon book reviews.
A lot of times, I get a lot of information from negative reviews about a way I might *like* a book. Complaints about how there's no action in Starship Troopers, and too much philosophy--or how it's nothing like the movie--might make me MORE interested. (If I didn't already know I loved the book...)
To put it in provider terms... if a spinner-lover complains that the pictures made her look too thin, and she's meaty in person, then a BBW-lover who was previously uninterested might stand up and take notice. (Or vice-versa, obviously.) Someone who complains that she couldn't carry on a conversation very well might be of interest to someone who prefers to spend all their time "getting to it."
And of course, the person who seems to have signed onto Amazon just to pan their least favorite books isn't going to have as well-respected reviews as some others.
I'm going to be sad when I get a bad review, don't get me wrong; I put a lot of myself into this, and it's the sort of thing that's hard not to take personally. (Speaking as an artist here--no matter how much you know you're more than your art, and it doesn't matter if someone doesn't like it, it takes a while to develop a skin about it.) But that doesn't mean that bad reviews aren't useful (even to me! When they're about me!), or that anyone should be afraid to give one if they're unhappy.
And incidentally, if you're nasty, then the review is less likely to be useful because people might assume you have a personal axe to grind.
So... yeah. I think that covers it all from my perspective? Hope it helps.

There's no reason to be nasty. I've made this mistake many times and in my 40s I'm starting to mature and make it less. I can see how it happens, especially in this hobby where certain things can get personal quick, but nasty rarely yields nice.
I still fall into the 'all yes' reviews, not because I think I'm afraid to hurt feelings, but because I'm looking for a lot for minimal cash and to get it I have to offer tolerance.
My first prerequisite for a review is the lady's approval. She doesn't want it, she won't get it, unless its an alert or a no that y'all need. AMPs don't apply to this, they're more public.
Beyond that, I hold back a few reviews for all the girls' I see sake. If I'm talking about stanky pussy in the coed lounge, I don't want Sherlock Holmes figuring out whose got the stank based on my comments. I hope to never pay for PA, but I don't want my big mouth to affect others negatively.
Personally, I don't like the gushing positive reviews. I want to hear some caveats, some downside to even a fantastic encounter. Nobody's perfect and if your review claims she is I discredit it, not as much as a bitter nasty review but some.
Thanks for the thread DD, I think these discussions really improve our board.
