Default R.I.P. Ape

Ape was the FBI canine that died this morning as police storm the building where the low life that shot 6, killing 4 in Mohawk and Herkimer yesterday was hiding. Yes, dogs can be heros too.

The whole situation was very sad and scary. I was close to the area at the time and it looked like war zone.

It is very sad. Apparently he didn't know any of the victims and they still don't know what his motive was.

I have heard that he didn't know any of his victims as well. The news has said that he maxed out all of this credit cards and has been unemployed for a couple of years. Could that have been a factor?

Yea, I heard that on the news as well. The other thing that has been mentioned is that he was a complete loner which matches the profile of the typical mass killer. There is no way to explain what is going on inside these guys heads.

I think this is a great picture. The memorial service held in VA for the FBI dog killed in the raid.

I was out earlier and passed the spot where Ape was shot and killed. There a couple of poster boards made from the area kids, and flowers left.
So,so sad, I think I will make a donation to a local animal shelter in Ape's name.
