The fact of the matter in regards to the OP, it takes 10 good experiances to cancel 1 bad. Unfortunately because of culturaly ingrained beliefs, the 1 black asshole, becomes all black men. Strangely enough, the 1 white asshole is held out to be an oddity, that is not transferred to all white men. However, that is not to say that this is the result of the white/black racial issue. Many of my wifes friends who were black and providers, refused to see black men, not because of their BF's but rather what the described as the bullshit you have to go through to get paid. They would tell me that everytime they dealt with a black guy it was just a huge hassell. However, when I would question them further I would find out that they hadnt seen a black man in years and that always was the result of 1 guy. However when pressed as for whether white guys had done the same thing, I was told yes, but they were just assholes.

It is sad, but the reality is, providers can see who they want, there are providers who will see black men, I would suggest you simply employ economics and spend your money with them. when their friends see that they are making more money and not having problems then economics will usually when out.

Ps. I would simply ignore, Longermonger, his comments regarding race and politics are always hyperbole to generate arguments. Most of the time the citations he will provide will be very broad in nature and hand selected to fit his particular argument. Discrimination is the act of choicing one thing (person) over another because of past experiences (true or not), tightly held beliefs (true or not), and personal preference (that is called freedom). Some providers won't see black men because of past experiences, their own beliefs, or just personal choice. Why do some hobbyists prefer blondes over brunettes, Asians over white, tall over short, BBW over spinners? That is all discrimination. Discrimination in general is not a bad thing.

discrimination isnt a dirty word
everyone makes choices, I would rather kill a spider than make sure it's not poisonous......what might help those who feel they are being untreated fairly is to not be told why a provider won't see you...etc
