Default Thread Locking

Thread locking is not good modtarding. Threads need to die a natural death. When threads get locked the underlying feelings start appearing in other threads and then the modtards have to start working, again. Modtards do not like to have to work, it puts them in a foul mood. They get stressed and then the little modtard cannot rise to the occasion ...

Also, threads should never be closed due the request of the thread creator. For example, a thread creator starts a thread that goes off the tracks and paints the thread creator in a bad light. Well, we are all adults on SHMBs. As adults we make decisions. When decisions are made there can be consequences to those decisions. By a modtard closing the thread the thread creator cannot learn from his/her error and will repeat the behavior. The repetition of behavior then creates more work for the modtards. Modtards do not like to have to work, it puts them in a foul mood. They get stressed and then the little modtard cannot rise to the occasion ...

There is a reason we have the dead modtards on the island, less moderating is the best moderating ...

Now go forth and tickle some taint.

There is some wisdom behind your words. Must be all of the taint.

There is a lil more to you the just the taint Pyramider!

It's funny, I was thinking of posting something on "my thread" this morning...because I felt terrible seeing the banter at the end. It would have been nice if it resulted in more constructive discussion before lock up. Is that possible all the time tho, in threads that take that type of turn?

Even if I had something to say, in attempt to point out what I felt was a constructive lesson, resolve, and new appreciation from the discussion, I may run the risk of being misundertsood in my intentions. That runs the risk of the negative thread that never ends ...maybe..? I am not sure!

I believe I understand what you are saying..I like it!!!

I wonder if locking it up is the mods way of just ...let it go... and let everyone take their own worth out of the read.

tickle ..tickle

Locking threads is just a short cut in moderating. Modtards do it too many times. Granted there are instances when a thread might need to be locked but those are the exception.

Usually the removed threads have a nuclear violation in them. The modtard that removed the thread might have it in modtardville getting other opinions on how to handle. But closing a thread is just lazy modtarding.
