I'm in NOLA for couple nights for business at the convention center but my hotel is near Bourbon Street. Is the parade tonight worth checking out? Any fun places to check out the next couple nights?

Link to parade schedule & routes.

Mardi Gras parades are not everyone's cup of tea, but if you've never seen one before you might want to check it out. Especially if you can walk to the parade. The traffic around parade routes can be a nightmare.
