Houston action pretty slow?

I don't know about everyone else, but it is just a busy time it seems. And I have to agree with some others on the post holidays and pre-tax time. But, the real reason, at least for me, is the uneasy feeling of this economy still going south. I know Houston in particular, and Texas in general, are supposed to be better than much of the rest of the country, but still, as one sees the price of groceries going up, gasoline going up again, too, and we keep reading about obamacare mandated health insurance going to $20,000 per family by 2016, and seeing the 4th quarter shrinkage of the US economy, it is all just a downer (mood killer) and does not make one want to spend money. Sorry, just being truthful as I see it.

I am a male, and I have a really laid back personality to be honest. I'm more disappointed in some responses, and reassured by others. As for pimp or agency, its semantics, both are pandering, but I hate the association with the word pimp. I prefer manager, marketer, business partners, etc.

I understand the wariness to simply answer my out of the blue question, and I figured there would be a bit of hostility to an agency. Hell, I'm wary of talking to pimps when I've had to.

I am a hobbyist who has decided to delve into the industry because I see something wrong in what's being provided. I decided to find a small niche where I can invest some time and money into making a honorable agency that people would enjoy. Making sure the girls are treated more like employees than tradable flesh, keeping them in quiet motels/hotels away from pimps for their own safety. Making sure on days (and weeks) they don't get any clients that their needs are taken care of.

I see posts of dine and dash, robberies, bait and switches, etc, and I figured if we provide an experience that I'd want to have, others would see value in using my agency and give us a try. Independants have advantages and disadvantages, and I give 100% respect to those who can make it on their own. Some girls are interested in having a manager to work with and provide security for them. Keep in mind, there are a lot of crazy people out there. I genuinely care about their well being and safety, so itbrings me to my next question..

I don't want my providers to have a stigma over them of being with an agency. So since the thread was already hijacked, I wanted to pose the question to everyone:

Do you want a new agency on here or not? I don't want to be where I'm not wanted.

@GentlemanTexan, definately understand that, uncertainties in the near future are causing a lot of problems in different markets. Being in Texas myself I haven't been hit as hard, but I can see some waiting to see how tax time as well as their new payroll taxes coming out making it a new adjustment period

I really don't care as much as I once did. I had a great guy that use to bring me some prime trim, always hot chicks never a issue. Still when you know they got a pimp it makes guys a bit uneasy. If you prove yourself you will do fine. So stick around and post a pic if the chicks. If they are fugly then you can go, but if they are hot sit down and stay a while.

I don't think it's a thing of you and your girls not being wanted - if you're honest and up front and your girls provide an honest service then I don't think there is a problem. There is a section here for agency reviews, there are showcases for agencies, so a new agency is probably welcomed.

I think the problem was your introduction - out of the blue, with no introduction - you questioned the slowness of the market. I think if you would have gotten an agency account, announced that you were a new agency, introduced your ladies, then things would have gone differently. Instead, after your initial question, you stated that you used backpage to advertise and your two ladies were having a lot of no-shows. If you read the forums you know that backpage is pretty frowned upon and honestly, if you use backpage in Houston, you know it's know for no-shows on both sides of the business.

I don't think your thread was intentionally hijacked but for someone new who claimed to be an agency provider with no posts, showcase, etc. to start asking questions about the frequency of appointments made some of us a little weary of you and your intentions.
