As far as rochester traditions in the food arena, I would say try the "bill grays" world greatest cheeseburger, with the bill gray's sauce.

I would say stay away for the garbage plates, though others swear buy it. The garbage plate is an excess of sodium and carbs.

When we were kids we'd finish up a hard night of drinking at Nick's on West Main. We thought the plate would allieviate our hangover.

After the bars closed there'd be throngs of people at the joint. Now, they close the doors at 8 PM. What a different world since the early '80s and now!

Just trying to make her feel at home!!! Nick's is a staple here that she must try it is best at 2;00am after quite a few beers!! Also need to try our white hots dogs while you are here as well!! Hope you enjoy your stay!!
