I would never meet with a guy if I knew he wasn't 100% all there. Some would, I guess, and I think they are putting themselves at great risk. What if the guy gets too attached and doesn't want you to leave and fights with you over it? Your S.O.L. because this man doesn't have the mental capacity to understand that your only there as a NSA short term girlfriend. The risk would just be too great to meet guys who are mentally deficient. Do I think it's immoral to meet with mentally deficient guys? No, I don't as long as he understands what this is about. But I do think it's unsafe for the provider because theres the risk of him going off the deep end.
-Take this for an example. I once met this great guy but I could tell he was a severe manic depressive. The first time we met, he told me how much he liked me. We got along. After our date, I went home and he continued to email, call and text. Now I don't mind keeping in touch with guys, actually I enjoy it. But I just can't always respond immediately to emails and stuff, and it was starting to upset him. Realizing this guy was a severe manic depressive, I told him I thought it best that we no longer communicate. Basicly, he couldn't handle the hobby and I saw this in the beginning. So sometimes it's best to end communications/meetings with people because if you don't the consequences could be terrible. The last thing in the world I would want to do is make him go off the deep end because I can't be there for him every minute of the day.

When one party is incapable of making sound judgements, the secrecy and social isolation of the hobby do make the "impaired" party more vulnerable to being taken unfair advantage of.

all as long the client is wearing his helmet - i'm kidding
i have a feeling this may happen more then people think.
I have seen mental retardation with people and they still have a moral compass, but there are others who don't
there could be a time, when moral decision may solely lie with the provider. though the more severe cases of retardation may not have a means to have the cash to obtain a provider
lets do say someone is a bit "touched", and has means to see a provider, and is respectful, and the provider is ok with it, so be it

i don't mean to be too picky
but my literal mind says no one here is 100% "all there", and most here have some sort of flaw, some more serious, and some less serious

LostForKate, have I told you lately how much I love your responses? I agree, if provider is OK, and Hobbyists is OK, then live and let live. However, I think that if a provider can see a train wreck coming, she should not see a guy for safety reasons. Take the guy I mentioned in the earlier post. I could tell he wasn't going to be able to handle me being a provider, even thats how we met. I could have continued to see him, I mean he really liked me. But I chose to end communication with him because he had issues with depression and sometimes you have to put whats best for someone in front of making money. It's what was best for him, and me also.

Tat,
I fixed it for you.
Remember this is a 2 way street.
your responses are always one sided

I get what ur saying, and as sone people are paying for a fantasy, it can be hard to discern the difference. An esperienced discerning provider will have to make the decision u made, and the naive ones will be in the train wreck.
A providers job can be a dabgerous one, and always a dramatic one.

This happened to me.
We exchanged pms. Seemed normal.
Talked on the phone. Sounded a litte nervous, no biggie.
Sent pics, looked like nerd, no big deal.
Met for dinner at and it was obvious that dude road the short bus.
Thank God I was coming from work and still had on my scrubs. It just looked like I was his caretaker instead of a whore.
