A holiday note
With banks closed and mail not being delivered, I had the option of working today, or taking the day off. I chose the latter, primarily to set up an appointment, and hopefully with a particular someone I haven't been able to see in quite a while.
Turns out that she's taking the day off. I'm going to try to come up with a Plan B in west Fort Worth, but that's not the reason for the post.
I would think that one of the minor holidays -- MLK, President's, Veterans, Columbus, maybe one or two more -- have the potential to be really good days for our lady friends. Bankers, brokers, government workers, and a lot of others who usually aren't off on a weekday have some free time on their hands.
I just wish I hadn't popped the Vitamin V an hour before my Plan A normally sets up shop.
