I wouldn't be concerned going to see some one such as yourself Tatiana, but there are girls I like to see who may attract attention. In these cases I am not overly concerned because I know I'm not doing anything illegal. I like finding the best deals on hotwire when I book rooms.

As I once told a temp duo partner of mine because she looked scared as hell: Smile and act like you know where you're going.

As long as you go in with a white envelope sticking out of your pocket and a bottle of wine in your arm, no one will suspect anything.

Another reason I prefer a lobby is usually a lot of these hotels have conference areas or I could use an excuse of picking up and associate for work if for some reason I'm seen. If I'm seen at a Red Roof inn for whatever reason not so much.
Just another easier aspect to explain and cover myself.

But with me, I'm always paranoid before and after, so it usually doesn't matter, I'm semi-freaking out regardless lol

Joe, I always assumed direct access was better -until a gent enlightened me and after thinking about it also, I came to the conclusion that lobbies were better also. Here in the souther tier, a somewhat sparsely populated place, a lady like me sort of sticks out, especially when walking through a lobby at 9pm with my long platium blonde hair and high heels. I've learned to tone it down, because I do not want to attract attention while walking through lobbies. Cell phone in hand, I pretend to be talking to a boyfriend and meeting him for dinner. That way, hotel clerks think I'm just a hot lady coming to see her boyfriend. "Is Red Lobster still open? I know it's late hun, I'm sorry I couldn't get here any sooner, but I can't wait to see you and go out to dinner, I'm so hungry."

trick of the trade
Guys, if your worried about not knowing where the elevator is, here is a great trick you can do. As you enter the lobby, stop and fumble through your pockets like your looking for something, like your keys or your hotel door card, etc. As you search your pockets and pretend to look for something, look around and find where the elevator is. This will give you a few seconds to look around, and find which direction you need to go.

I prefer the lobbies, as it is very easy to look like you belong there and the front desk clerks have no way to know who checked in say the night time when they weren't on shift, etc..Also it has a safety factor, if this is possibly a first time provider to me if they should happen to have eyes in the parking lot they have no idea what you are driving and no chance that someones going to come up on you lets say to try to roll you or whatever they may thing they can make you a victim of.This is something that I figure is more of something to be aware of with providers from BP as we all know they can have some very questionable settings and "crews" with them at times...

Does not work. The hotel personnel thinck you are merely playing with yourself.
I was in Los Angeles on business of the non adult variety. I had to sign a waver that stated I would not be filming a porno in the hotel.

Or you could just ask the desk clerk what time check out is and where the laundry is located. Then you could wander around as if you were looking for the laundry while you scope things out.

I feel a lot more comfortable in a 3+ star hotel with a lobby. In Erie they are really weird about it, a lot of Gents wont come unless you stay in a hotel without outside access. I had to stay in a red roof in the other day because my overnight said he only feels safe in that type of place. I didn't feel safe at all, I don't like only having a door separating me from the outside.
