Flipping the TV today duing half time of the Houston game and saw on the commercials of the past.

Remember the older commercials, based on my age that would be in 1960's and 1970's.

Plop Plop Fiz Fiz Oh what a refief it is.

Wow... there's so many funny ones, but these are a few that come to mind. Anyone remember Euell Gibbons and the Post Grapenuts commercial, ("Ever eat a pine tree?"). Or about the Alka Selzter ("Mama Mia!") commercial? And of course, the Hai Karate commercial where the lady gets all excited when the guy shows up at her door for a date wearing Hai Karate aftershave and he goes Kung Fu on the furnitue...

Forgot about this one. Years ago I remember watching Nickelodeon with my kids and they had this short commercial about Flatulence, which at the time we all busted out laughing every time they showed it. Just watched it again on You Tube and it brought back some memories of the past that I miss so very much...

At the time, it was hilarious. But seeing it again after so many years, it kinda broke my heart. Why, because I remember sitting on the couch with my wife and son, a bowl of popcorn and watching Nickelodeon, you know, family time.. Well, I'm not so sure I should even bring this up, but my wife of 26 years passed away a few years ago, and my 16 year old son Taylor, passed away last year. September 11, 2011 to be exact. It's sooo hard to lose your family and when I see things, or hear songs that are reminders of the past, it hurts in a way that I can't even begin to describe, especially this time of year! Remember hearing the story when everyone was waiting for Rodney Dangerfield to show up for a shoot. They were pissed when Dangerfield showed up. Rodney broke it in classic style, hung over and all. He addressed another sports figure that was there for the shoot, Ray Mancini. He said, "Hey Ray, I was with your sister last night. Now I know why they call her Bang Bang."

Its Slinky, its slinky a wonderful toy ........ made for a girl and a boy~!!!!!

I just bout lost my mind beggin my mom & dad for this..... I even broke it down on my reasoning for having to have this toy. Was hey we have stairs in our house just like in the commercial. Funny thing.... slinky would never walk for me...... I'm still scared.... lol That had to be favorite commercial - still singing the little jingle!
