It doesn't matter who the GOP nominates, actions will speak louder than words and the actions between now and the next election will determine if the GOP can win another national election. No one can predict what will happen in 2016, but what's for sure is that by demonizing minorities the GOP is not doing itself any favors. Unfortunately they don't want to get their head out of the sand and they're starting the next cycle with the wrong foot, but they can still recover.

I think the country will be in such bad shape in 2016 that no Democrat could win. That being said, the Republicans really have no one in place to run in 2016, except Marco Rubio. Woop-de-do. He's already in Iowa. The problem with Rubio is that he appears to be believing the hype that he is the savior of the Republican Party. Truth is, he's like all the rest of them.

It appears Gary Johnson will be running again, and possibly Jesse Ventura. I'm fine with either one.

I only listed major party candidates. No independent or fringe party candidate has a prayer. Frankly, I wouldn't mind a European Parliamentary system that gave power to third parties, but for good or for ill, it's not what we have.

That being bullshit you mean.

Ventura hasn't got the attention span for national office.

PS Has anyone talked to he-be-a- douche about that OCD? They probably can't help him but at least with Obamacare they can try.

COG - The country is in bad shape today and the Republicans couldn't pull it off. If Rubio is their pick, it doesn't solve their Hispanic vote problem. To solve their Hispanic vote problem, the GOP needs to change their attitude towards Hispanics. HIspanics are smarter than that, they can see right through their bullshit. I said it back when they put Michael Steele in charge of the RNC. As soon as they could get rid of him, they threw him under the bus. The same will happen with Rubio. The GOP has a long way to go before the Hispanic community starts supporting them.

The GOP is a waste of time. They aren't even worth considering. The dynamics in 2016 will be very different from 2012. We will either have freedom or tyranny. Tyranny is way ahead right now.

For the GOP, I think Chris Christy and Jeb Bush are the most logical choices. I had no respect for Christy before the storm, but I do now. He concentrated on his job and put politics to the side the way a Governor should be. When Florida was being overran by hurricanes, Jeb Bush showed leadership. In times of crisis, these two showed what they were made of and I liked what I saw. May not agree with their politics, but I have to give them respect as leaders.
