Default gift ideas

Ladies, what are some of the coolest gifts you've gotten from clients that are $100 or less in value?

Gents, feel free to chime in with gifts you've given to the ladies which you thought were pretty cool.

Please forgive me if a similar thread has been started before (if so, mods feel free to delete).

I had a gent bring me a CD of my favorite band, Daughtry! It made me feel super special because I knew he had taken the time to actually read my website and learn more about me prior to our date!

Music CD/DVDs, flowers, chocolates . . . my two favorite gifts of all time were puzzle/logic books (I do them at night for fun to settle my brain before sleep - yeah, I know, it is weird but it works for me) and homemade "haystacks" - those little things made of Chinese noodles and peanuts covered in chocolate, chocolate and peanut butter and sometimes butterscotch. Although, I did get an incredible flower arrangement recently that was amazing . . .

I greatly appreciate small gifts with thought given to them most of all . . . if you take the time to get to know me, and what I like, I'm going to go out of my way for you in return. It isn't the $100 tip that makes the biggest impression, it is that you took an interest in me as a person. Those (to me) are the coolest gifts, and they are all well under $100.

The biggest hit for me was with a lady I had seen a few times. I had gotten to know her well enough that I knew she had a son and about what age. I searched online for a book that I had loved reading to my kids when they were about that age. She was thrilled and it was a great chance to pass along a classic to a new generation.

The book was "Old Turtle" and you can still find it online. A great message in it for kids and adults alike, illustrated with some amazing watercolors.

I've had CD's, books, perfume, DVD's, porn, gift cards and gifts for my dogs/cats given to me. As much as I adore gifts, when a gent goes out of his way to get my pets a gift.....that melts my heart.

Oh, and I once stopped at what was essentially a pet health food store and picked up some all natural (and expensive) doggie treats for a young lady who I knew had a pit bull. Figured I needed to I needed to do whatever I could to stay on the pit bull's good side.

Didn't see your post until after I submitted mine. Kind of ironic. But yeah, the pet thing always works.

Knowing my love for the southwest, a gentlemen brought me a beautiful piece of pottery to add to my collection. Certainly carved a special place in my heart for him.

I was given an unusual gift. It was given to me by a client who was a cross country skier and a mountain climber. When he was in south america there was a boy at the foot of the mountain selling this "thing"(sorry, i dont know what to call it),it looks like a ball the size of a grapefruit , made from pieces of brass wire looped together, has colorful beads slidding along the wires. You twist it and it closes flat. I was just starting out as a provider just before christmas (but not last christmas, lol!).i loved that little thing but its broken now. If anyone knows what its called and where i can get it repaired please let me know. My client passed away several years ago.

OOOO the gifts I've received over the years! My FAVORITE, are candles (there is a smoke shop next to the best western on main between the plaza & westport that has my favorite candles) and room spray!!!!! specifically from THAT store! LMAO - STFU MALWOODY, I can hear you laughing all the way in Minneapolis! LOL

I love anything that is thoughtful, I used to love chocolates, but my body (and Dr.) has decided against sugar.

Lingerie is always lovely, but so hard to fit me, big boobs skinny body (was just told I am a 34G by the bra lady at Nordstroms WTF?? LOL), so gift cards, while some may think they are trite... I love them.

SPA gift certificates, a full service spa that offers mani''s / pedi's, waxing and massage.. regardless of the amount, I love to have gift certificates on hand especially when I travel. Prime example, I totally forgot to pack panties for this trip. Just happened to have a Nordie's gift certificate for $ 50 bucks... I spent more than that, but the $ 50 off gave me pause to stop and call the gent who gave me that gf and say thank you again... even though it had been nearly 7 months since we last met...

Anything that is given with thought, I love.... my place in Phoenix is filled with a variety of gifts from gents, i can't wait to fill up my KC place with the same...

Oh yes and CUBAN CIGARETTES!! The real ones, not a cigar, not a cigarillo... no no no. the real deal cuban ciggies...... Yes, I know that's damn near impossible to get, but when I do BOOYA BABY....

My lungs are very pleased tee hee...

xoxoxo

Yeah, I've had a couple clients bring gifts just for my pets....leaving me out in the cold. But, that's OK with me because if you thought that much about bringing my furbabies gifts, that means you're a good man charlie brown.

Its the little things most of the time that mean so much.

One of the sweetest gifts I have ever received was a set of leather scented candles. I don't even remember mentioning that I loved the smell of leather, but he remembered it and bought the candles. More than anything, it was the fact that he remembered something I said in passing, and gave me something that was so thoughtful.
