I was driving home tonite and just missed getting into a car accident on my way. Which made me think and I came up with this. So my Question is What If I died in a car accident? Would anyone here know? Would anyone here even care? Things that make you go HMMM Or WHAT IF!!!

Well, I know in some close knit communities we know each other IRL very well. When tragedy strikes we know and post about it doing our best not to "out" the person or let their IRL info out.
If I read you died I would be sad even though I dont know you (yet) in person I still "know" you and we have a common interest (the hobby) so that connects 2 strangers. It is always sad and sobering when someone's life is ended prematurely no matter what the circumstances may be. It reminds us all of our own mortality and in that, hopefully, it reminds us to live life to the fullest. Isn't that what our hobby is all about? Taking life by the horns and making experiences to remember, life is for living. There is this little tween saying and movement with meaning, "YOLO" =You Only Live Once

No trauma with this one just happened and I was like Damn what if i never signed back into this borad!! Would anyone besides the few ladies I have seen know? Unfortunately it doesn't matter, at the time of your demise they will no longer be clean especially if it is quite a terrifying experience. O_o.
*Blushing* I tinkled myself last year when a semi hit a deer as I was passing it going 80. The deer exploded into chunks and covered my windshield so I hit my breaks and went off the road into the median because I could see out my side window and was scared someone would rearend me.
Officer "Please step out and walk around to make sure you have no injuries."
Me "Nope! I believe I am just fine and it is cold out."
Officer "It would be easier to lean over the car and fill out paperwork with me that way."

Getting back to the original subject.... I think it's interesting. We all banter and converse but very few of us know each other IRL. I, for one, have never met any of you, If I died tomorrow or (heaven forbid) got arrested none of you would ever know. And unless a picture of me was posted, that would include providers.
Therein lies the good and bad of anonimity.

Exactly what I am saying if no one knows who I am really no one would know I was gone or anyone else for that matter unless we stopped postings

The D&C article would read something like, "Rochester man, straight out of a Cheech & Chong movie, dies in motor vehicle accident. Seven thousand Viagras and four ounces of..... were found at the scene. Calling hours will be at the AC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vern's name to Allana and NN."
