HOW MUCH IS A REVIEW WORTH?

I realize a review has value to a review site, to the players who read them, and to the ladies who use them as advertising!
I was just on a site that awarded me 15 days VIP on their site for one review?
That would mean a player would need to write a review 2-3 times a month to keep their VIP status updated.
Finding discretionary funds for Hobbying today is a real task for many of us!

Would you say to be in the HOBBY one must spend $500-$750 monthly?
Is it time for the ladies to see we are in a recession and discount a little more to increase their cash flow?
I was wondering what your thoughts on this topic?

If you don't play that often, you can either:

(1) Buy access

or

(2) Identify whose reviews you want to check out, make a list, and wait until the next time you get VIP access. Then cram all of your backlog of research into that 15 day period. You don't have to read the "juicy details" every day.

or

(3) Do without reading the restricted parts of the reviews. There are various other sources for "wank fodder," and in deciding whom to see you can always rely on the public parts of the reviews (including numerical ratings on that other site) plus trial and error.

I just got a notice from I bet the same site that I had 9 days left on my VIP.
If you post 2 a month then you are probably spending between four and six hundred a month.

The hobby is not for shallow pockets.

I do NOT believe in providers giving discounts for reviews. I think that is off the charts BS. If it was a good experience it seems to me the hobbyist would just ask – I’d love to give you a review to help your business if you like? What a great way to tip! That way the girls who deserve to get good reviews get them and the client has helped her out in very good ways.

Honestly, are you going to be happy that you chose a girl that had a great review like a 8 or 9(that was given to her because of a discount) and you see her and you know that no matter what she would never be better than a 6? If you do that how will you ever place value on one single review you ever read. It totally makes reviews useless.

My other thought on reviews: For the boards if they want to reward you and it doesn't impact your honesty on the review -why not! However, I think you guys should just be able to give us OKAY's like we can give you on P411. Maybe the girls profile should tell a little more about what she likes or willing to more specific like DFK, DATY, BBBJ, GREEK, XXX anything goes sort of thing. Of course that information would be available for VIP members of the boards which helps generate more revenues for the board.

The rest of the information in reviews is too darn subjective isn't it and so crosses the lines of discretion- Right? Just because Joe Stud and I had great sex and F'd like wild animals doesn't mean I expect to do that with everyone - Maybe Joe Rod wants it soft and sexy more GFE.............to some degree sex is like dancing - some of us girls are great dancers and can dance really good with a lot of people-but it is rare that two dances are exactly the same!

There are many other ways to give discounts to help these time to help both the provider and hobbyiest without devaluing our services......but, honestly, SP is right.........not a hobby for shallow pockets.

A good ideal for discounts(may not be appropriate for this board I am just speaking in general) – You are a VIP paying member on a board such as Eccie- they have verified you - girls have verified you on the board with okays and the board allows me to advertise for free with one exception - Each paying member to their board gets a $50(or something) discount(reward) certificate to use with one girl each month that advertises on their boards. So, if (i'll use SP as the example) SP comes to me and says I'd like to see you this month and I want to use my VIP reward - I will give him his reward. (of course I'd send a note to the verification person asking is this a valid "reward" and has he used it yet) I would honor this once a month as payback for advertising and everyone wins.

This is a win-win for everyone:
1. I basically get to advertise on a very active board that helps with screening (although it is my responsibility to make sure it is legit) All I have to do for this privilege is give a discount once per month if a VIP hobbyist(from this board) wants to use his VIP reward seeing me. If no one ask to use their credit with me from the board that month then okay – these don’t accumulate either way for me - I am only obligated to reward per month no matter what. But, if five guys with legit rewards ask to see me and I decide to let them use their reward with me – my choice – but I am only obligated to one per month.

2. For the hobbyist if his monthly fee is $25.00 and he gets a $50.00 discount “reward per say” to use with a provider on this board; then his membership is paid for basically. And he has access to the VIP scoop on the girls such as what they will or will not do etc…

3. The board can keep paying VIP members their boards for all the obvious & right reasons.

(now you have to do this within legal guidelines but if TER can charge for VIP memberships there has to be a legal way to make it work) The difference is you have the competitive advantage with the reward system.

With one minor edit~ I do not offer a "menu" of any sort, I am not a "drive thru". LOL Each of my gentleman visitors should expect to have a unique visit with me. What I do with one, I reserve the right not to do with another. In other words, YMMV.

well i agree with you there too beautiful there should be a choice of YMMV of course as it relates to the menu.

But, there are enough gals who want to post more to make it work from that point of view too.

Most of my sessions turn out YMWV.

I do relay as much as possible what is a reasonable menu, but I agree with Cassidy 100% from our experience together it just flowed. And one day soon I might be able to see how it flows with SummerBella.

I don't read and expect the same from any review as I've learned from experience not to beleive everything I read.

I think summerbella nailed it using a review as a tip which I agree is the best possible scenario!
It can be a tip to the site, to the ladies and to the men! How much is a review worth to the site?, to the men?, to the Ladies?.
Many sites use reviews to provide access to BCD. Some give you 15 days per review others give you 2 months per review.
If the site is using pay pal or visa to pay expenses and site fees, these will be taken away once it is discovered you have explicit reviews of escorts, as they do not allow it!
Yes I agree some may call the BCD juicy stuff "wank fodder" grin some may say the whole draw to a review site are the reviews, the gallery sexy photos, and or adult games on the site that may bring guys to site. What ever it may be the site has an obligation to bring the guys in to see the ladies ads.
Other than a little drama here and there it is for the ladies. I often hear it is for the men, however I have always seen review sites as vehicles for the ladies ads. all the rest is there to bring guys to read the ads!
Blogs are the exception they are driven by education and information, gossip and slander, and sometimes drama and misinformation! I do not see them going to a blog for a review and I do believe blogs do have their place in the HOBBY as a source for some useful info!
Once a review site develops a good following such as this one (congrats admin) many come to read the articles, reviews, the photos and the ads ok a little drama!.

So now I ask what is a review WORTH? I see many of the ladies shrugging them off as no big deal if I get one great!
I really believe Summer Bella had it right, the answer is it is a great tip earned!
I feel the ladies must earn and ask for the tip in the form of a review!

I do not see them asking for the review often enough. I do see them asking 2 weeks later when business is slow!

I think it is important that they ask right after the session. What a nice thing to say to a guy,

"Could you you provide me a review based on your enjoyment of the session"
"I prefer the review to be on TER ECIEE.net and AHC or biggdoggie etc."

If you do not ask they may not write it!

Also ladies no matter what site it is you need to LUV YOUR ADMIN. he or she is the one who supports you and helps you!

THE REVIEW IS WORTH MORE THAN YOU THINK.
It supports the site!
It supports the ladies!
and it supports the men with more information!
More women need to ask for the review to support the HOBBY and themselves!

The worth of a review is a variable that is hard to define. To the Lady they can be very valuable. One of my special Ladies, who is retired, always wanted a review. She said that when she had a review on the front page her business picked up and tht she could tell when it fell off the front page by the inquiries. This is a problem on ASPD now because the reviews fall off the front page in a couple of hours some days. Here that is not a problem. The worth of a review is also increased by the reviewer. A review from Donky Dong is worth a lot more than a review from a newbie.

I find that a review is very important to the Guys. If I haven't personally met the Lady I probably won't see her without a review by one of my trusted sources. I do not go into any session with an agenda other than having a good time and enjoying myself. I think my mileage is probably about a good as anyone's.

The only discount for reviews that I have ever gotten is from PC and they are open to anyone that wants to participate. I have even written negative reviews of some of Gina's girls. If I write a review you can bank on it being an accurate assessment of my visit. I don't mind writing negative reviews because I will not be seeing them again anyway. I will not write a cruel review or personally attack the provider. I do not expect every provider to click with every guy they see anymore that I would expect to click with every Lady on the board.

On ASPD you can keep BCD for one review every 90 days. That is not near the 500 to 700 per month mentioned above. I love (am addicted) the "Hobby" and I try to visit almost weekly, so I do spend that much.

Do I think the Ladies should recognize the hard economic times? I think they do! Probably more so than the guys. We use this as a "Hobby" but this is their livlihood. This is the way that they feed and clothe their family. I also have been getting some offers for extra time added to a visit along with some great deals on specials.

Good points. In particular, that the worth of a review may be variable depending on, among other things, the lady's circumstances -- is she already getting as much business as she wants? will too many reviews give an image that she's "high volume" or might be difficult to schedule with? will a review attract too many inquiries at a time when she is unable to respond promptly, e.g., going on vacation? etc. -- as well as the reviewer -- not only whether he is respected, like you and SP Hunter, but also whether his review/recommendation is likely to carry weight with the lady's target market. If she wants more business from the genteel crowd, a raunchy reviewer may not be helpful, and if she wants to promote PSE, a tasteful review may be counter-productive.

There are even questions such as whether too many reviews by the same guy, and too few by others, may look like promotion or a WK and lessen the value of her reviews. Particularly relevant for the clients who see only a few ladies, on a regular basis, rather than visiting new ladies all the time.

Not every lady will want or need a review from every client. I figure the lady is the best equipped to know what is best for her business. If she asks, I'll probably write one; if she asks for one for every time together, well, I might not do quite that often, but I may come close. (As I recall, Jennifer Tyler asked for a review of every session; I probably posted one about every other session.)

Otherwise, I assume that she's getting as many and the type of reviews that she needs/wants.

Yeah, TER is tougher in that respect than ASPD. Of course, you can always pay for access, for either site.
