They are setting themselves up to flee the Big XII and become independent about the same time as the BCS contract expires. Horns'll be to ESPN was Notre Dame is to NBC.

Another nice win last night against OK State. Missou ranked # 12 coming into the drum Saturday night at 8:00 pm. We're ranked # 8. Playing some of the best defense I've seen. Balbay is disruptive as anybody in nation.

Especially since it was a trap game. Coming off several impressive wins in a row, breaking KU's home win streak, etc. Going on the road to play someone they were expected to beat on an emotional night for them could have been a big trap. Remember when the football team lost in College Station after the bonfire collapse.

And yes, the defense is what might ultimately get them a good seed in the tournament.

Another great win last night. If it wasn't a sell out it was close. We went up 10-0 and never looked back. We had 3 players that damn near had triple doubles. Hamilton did 16 pts-13 RB, Johnson 15 pts 9 RB, and Thompson 9 pts, 13 RB. More lockdown D. The leading scorer's in the conferance Missou shot 37%. On to A&M tomorrow night!

I had some free time this afternoon and attended the UT women's game against Colorado. The Horns have a 5' 10" Freshman Guard who is absolutely outstanding. Her name is Chassidy Fussell and she controlled the game on both ends of the floor. There is no doubt in my mind that she has All American potential, possibly as early as next year!

Over and above her outstanding play on the court, she is a friggin' HOTTIE!

Before you ask, I did not ask her if she had any interest in the hobby! (But even if she did have interest, I would keep her to myself!)

Fussel is a good player that could be great. She don't strike me as hot. The Nash sisters sure do though.

Went to the Texas-Texas Tech game. 1st half we looked unstoppable. 2nd half Tech played us even. Hard to keep the intensity up when your so much better than the other team. We won by 16.

Went to the Baylor game. That's the last 2 times I went where we suck in the 2nd half and lack the killer instinct. For the 1st time I'm calling trouble.
