Intelligence
Not trying to WK a thread, but I'm seeing more frequent references in reviews to the fact that a provider "has a brain" or "she can think; she isn't a bimbo," "she can really carry on a conversation," and the like. I can honestly say I haven't yet met a provider that was brainless or a total bimbo (admitting that Gonzo is a little bit loose morally too; I mean, why hobby if you can't enjoy it?). About the only difference I can discern between providers and other ladies I meet is that, well, they've decided to be providers. Maybe it's the ice and cold, but every time I read this I just think WTF?! I'm also thinking, WTF do providers think about our conversational skills? I'll bet that's a much better story.

Tara, don't confuse intelligence with writing skills. I've seen many well written things by wrong headed people. As for me, believe me, if it wasn't (or is it "weren't?) for spell check I'd be the butt of more jokes than I probably already am.
Keep your style and ignore the bile.

Intelligence matters to me in the opposite sex, for sure. I don't know why, but it does.
But I don't think there's any higher or lower proportion of intelligence in the ladies on this site than in any other walk of life.
I just personally try and avoid ladies who are a couple of jam sandwiches short of a picnic, in every aspect of life.

Although the occassional brainless, monkey jumping, grunting, caveman, sweat dripping romp in the sack has its place and time.....if you can stimulate my brain...you can get me to do just about anything!

Stimulating conversation can be a real turn on unless it just keep going and going and going.

Smile. It could be a better story, but should we tell you? Riveting conversation is great, of course!
Also, sometimes a hairy man (I LOVE hair) who grunts and is just a rutting beast can be absolutely divine. Seriously!

Probably true. I've met some very smart ladies in P4P, but I try not to make those kind of comments too often. It might come across as a condescending attitude about sex workers in general. Kind of like the old joke that the remarkable thing about a talking dog isn't the brilliance of the conversation but the fact that he talks at all. Is it really remarkable that an escort could converse at the same level as most people I deal with??? I may have been a bit too liberal with such comments in the past but I try to avoid committing the "soft misogyny of low expectations" for women/sex workers, and limit observations about an escort's intelligence to the truly exceptional cases. I don't always succeed in striking the right balance. *shrug*

They rarely comment about that sort of thing. Either they don't value intelligence in a partner the same way we might, or they have very high expectations for us that few of us surpass, or they set moderate or even low expectations and we can't even meet those. Take your pick of explanations.

The Ultimate Stimulus
In my professional life I've surrounded myself with many highly intelligent women. Two are my business partners, some are employees and some are clients and vendors. Everyday that I go to the office, I anticipate that I will be stimulated and challenged by them. From this perspective, I have an almost perfect job. If clothing was optional, it would be the perfect job.
So, when I am looking for private life recreation, I am usually looking for a similar kind of mental stimulation as part of each experience. I guess that is why my favorite ladies are also my muses.
Tease my mind and the rest will follow.

Besides IQ, common sense is very important. However, common sense is also often vacant in the highly intelligent.
