What's a guy to do when he's been out of the hobby?

Hi everyone, stroker here. Been hobbying in the states since '09 in the Kansas area but due to work issues and being under the microscope for the past year or so I've had to put the hobby off to the side.

I've tried contacting providers that I haven't seen since last year and seeing if they'd be willing to give me a reference but seeing as it's been so long a lot of them don't either remember me or just say no because it's been so long. Is it time for me to reset my clock and just find newbie friendly providers or is there another way for me to prove to you that I'm an alright guy?

Perhaps see those traveling providers who would be willing to be a reference, the ones you saw a while back. I imagine the KC gals are not in your current area.
