Cool 2013 Counting Pumpkins Competition

Question:

If the male pumpkin is a JACK o’lantern,
And the female pumpkin is a JANE o’lantern,
How many Janes and how many Jacks does it take
to make the Pumpkin Patch successful?

Answer: TBA

Some helpful hints:

--The Pumpkin Patch has one front entry, one rear entry and one side entry

-- Old MacDonald and his farm hands are monitoring the entries

--There is zero cover charge to enter the Pumpkin Patch

-- A state issued ID may be helpful during the “punkin” harvesting process

--All Jack o’lanterns and all Jane o’lanterns must have directions to the Pumpkin Patch

-- Candles are optional.

Current estimates:

76 Jane o’lanterns

102 Jack o’lanterns

Thanks CK for what you do. Always posts that are very entertaining and informative and even funny.

Be careful Wakeup CK we are very protective of CK!

Just stuff on my mind at the moment, Mr. Wakeup.

Happens every once in a while at my age.

Sometimes occasioned by the amount of caffeine in my system...or the lack thereof.

Thanks for your intense interest in my thought patterns.

btw, I appreciate your Cardinals avatar.

Having resided in both St. Louis and in Boston at various (and multiple, no less) times in my lengthy career, I cannot easily take sides in the World Series. May the better team score the big one!

come on CK if you're going to flaunt the rules at least be upfront about it. There are a few people that don't get the whole jack and jane thing.

for those of you that don't understand CK is saying he's currently expecting a hundred two guys and seventy two girls to show up Staff edit JJ and also let you know which entrance you can use and that one ofg his guys will be there checking IDs and make sure you're actually on the invite lis. if you need any other information feel free to PM him

I so enjoy your clever way of putting things! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!!! You are a breath of fresh air on a board that so badly needs it right now.

Mr. Whispers!

Come! Come!

I'm counting pumpkins, not tracking anything else.

All in your imagination.

Perhaps you need some of my caffeine?

Whispers, please refrain from promoting any events.

If an event is promoted in the forums, I will be forced to close it.

Does that mean if I should venture to Austin and promote someone's event there it would be closed there as well? Not that I would ever dream of doing same. And, I am not suggesting that anyone else should do that either.

Respectfully requesting that any promotions in this thread should be immediately removed so folks can help count the pumpkins. In case of a tie, there will be a drawing to determine the winner.

If you don't like discussions about pumpkins then don't read it. Making criticisms of Mokoa and trying to interfere with the local hobby activity is not doing you any good. Mokoa does a good job and CK is very appreciated. Let it go.

I am not in charge of the Austin forums, so I don't know how the Austin mods will proceed. I can only answer how I will proceed in my area of responsibility.
