Free or cheap Photoshop pictures

Hello providers. A lot of you have made my life more enjoyable so I would like to give back to you. If you have any pictures you want altered or the backgrounds whited out I'm offering to do them for free. This does imply that Its fun work and I don't get a way to many pics from a bunch of people. Anyway I figure Karma is a bitch so its alway good to do nice things for you girls and then my sessions are better with the girls I do see. Its worked so far. Just make sure you have permission to alter the images - you could be causing problems between the girls and the photographers they work with.

Sure copyrights exist everywhere, but you can't expect to put your stuff out on the net and not have some people disregard. The RIAA and MPAA have spent millions on this already and haven't really put a dent in the problem, just made people more careful and harder to track/catch.

I doubt any photog is going to send DMCA takdown notices to ECCIE or providers, but the providers might burn a bridge if the photog doesn't like the edit job done to the photos, or doesn't like editing done at all unless he's doing it.

I don't know if I would bank on that. As a web designer, I've received notices from photogs for clients of mine who cropped off the photog's watermark (not knowing that you're not supposed to do that). And now we have these new online image finders that make it infinitely easier for photographers (or providers) to track unauthorized usage of their photos. So you can still chance it if you want, but don't assume that it's difficult for them to find out, because it's really not anymore.

Your offer is a sweet one though, Zimmie, and Karma definitely exists, so you probably get points already just for offering ;-))

Listen to Holly - I have sent them to sites and I know other photographers that have sent them to site also and yes we do get them removed if they are outside the scope of what was agreed upon with the client. You have to understand, for us our images are our advertising and if someone does something to an image that has our name on it and screws that image up it's not a reflection on the editor but on the photographer. At the very least, if you don't have permission from the photographer, you can ruin the relationship with the provider and photographer.

I agree, it's a nice offer. You should post some samples of your work and you never know, there are some photographers that don't have time to edit their images right away so there may be some work for you from our end also if your work is good.

Jesus Christ all I said was if you needed help editing a pic I would do it for free. What else can I offer to do for free that will piss everyone off.

I don't get it what reason would they have for being upset about whiting out the background of a picture to make it look better. How does that effect anybody in any way negatively. I can't even think of a reason it would effect the photographer negatively. If they take a picture and you alter the picture by whiting out the background that doesn't diminish the need for a girl to get more pictures taken in the future from the photographer it actually increases the chance of the girl getting more photos because it increases the uses of the photos taken. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but the value of a photo is in the person photographed and what you do with the photo not in the photo itself. I can make a million copies online but clicking copy over and over and so can everyone else. I just don't get it. Can you explain it to me because my head hurts from trying to understand and I just start feeling dumber and dumber as I try.
