For certians reason i want to keep my idenity hidden but need a credit card. I know you can but prepaid visa cards at wal mart, however they seem to need registration. So I am curious if anyone knows how to make an online purchase or use the pre-paid credit card with out registrating? Hope you all can help.

I think most of Vanilla Prepaid Visa card doesn't require to register. I used them all the time.
Suggestion don't use Vanilla Prepaid Visa card at gas station to swipe from pump though it will put a $75 hold for a few days.
Other than that you have an option to set up pin for ATM.
They comes in $20-$500 it has $4.95 one time fee when you buy them and I assume you would pay cash for it. So, there is no record of who purchase them.You can have the option to reload more money on it. But if you want to use and toss it when it empty. I suggest don't get it reload because, then you will have to supply more personal info and get money transfer from your bank account.

You mentioned make an online purchase. I used it to buy stuff and only thing I need to put in there is where the item to be send to. So, my mailing info was necessary.
So, I'm not sure I'd share the right info.

I was looking at the wal mart reloadable I guess and the instructiones mention registering before use on the intenert. yes i plan to use and toss, Where do you get a Vanilla prepaid card?

Vanilla visa does require registration, HOWEVER you can put XX XX XX in all of the info with the exception of the zip code. That must be a valid zip code, but doesn't need to be yours.

You can get Vanilla visa at Walgreens, CVS or most other such places.

Here is another vote for vanilla visa. I use the prepaid gift cards (not the other one, maybe the reward card) and the only info they require is a zip code. Vendors may require additional information (like the address mentioned earlier) but if you aren't purchasing goods or something that needs to be delivered, you can make that up, too. I use VV cards to pay for my p411 membership and std testing, so I could be "Fred Flintsone" at 123 Bedrock Avenue for all it matters to them lol! Just make sure the zip code matches what you entered at the vanilla visa site and you should be good.

You can use strategies like those mentioned above to use prepaid, non-reloadable cards for somewhat anonymous purchases (in person, or online). Keep in mind, many of the prepaid credit cards are blocked for "adult-oriented online transactions", or for transactions with merchants outside the US, even if you register them.

As for reloadable cards, these are pretty much impossible to use without giving up your ID information, including your social security number. This is because of US anti-money laundering laws. There are some prepaid cards you can get that are issued by institutions outside the US that don't require ID, but the ones I've seen have generally required paying the institutions very large fees (on the order of hundreds of dollars) to issue a card. Plus, of course, then you have to give them an address to send the card to, which kind of works against the whole anonymity thing....

One note: cards that don't need registration cannot be used for foreign transactions (like making a payment to eccie.net as it is a foreign transaction).

I did find, though, that if I bought a prepaid visa from my bank (chase) that it works for foreign transactions and I didn't have to register it. I think the bank gets away with it because they know who I am by my account information when I load the card. This complies with the patriot act know your customer and the other banking crap.

Now,....having said all that,...the card doesn't require registration but I would assume that someone (maybe the government) could go back to the bank with the card number and the bank would tell them I bought the card. What I don't know...is if a vendor could do that. I think it would take a lot of effort.

So I'm not sure what you are trying to do....but you might just stop at your bank and ask them what is available and how it might be traced back to you. Maybe tell them you are donating the homeless people and you don't want them to find out it was you.
I don't think they would be suspicious...but they probably won't know the answer either.

My banking status gets me the chase visa for no service charge...so that beets Vanilla whatever hands down.

Ummm WRONG... ECCIE is NOT a foreign transaction.. it uses CCBILL which processes the payments right here in the good USA.

But Vanilla also has the prepaid MasterCard and so far it has worked for the sites that I have paid for with out any problems... so far.

How can you get a money transfer without using ?

They are not letting me register. They say I have the wrong information, actually they must have the wrong information, this is not the first time I have had , maybe I have used them too many times, moved on them and never kept the cards going since I didn't need them? Who knows but now I can't get any of them to REload. I can only purchase them... I talked to the reps and everything. lol

What site will allow me to buy a reloadable card used for transfers? Obviously most of us will not transfer from banking accounts because it is too personal for both involved!

Hope some of you could help a girl out with this. ; )

There is no North American bank that will process transactions for adult sites. Some European banks will though.

Even CC Bill makes all their adult sites use an EU bank, because an adult site cannot get approved with a North American bank... at least that's how it was the last time I checked with them.
