Hello let me introduce myself My name Is Whitney Weston on here I go by 34E Whitney Weston on P411 just Whitney Weston. I have had many requests to visit Midalnd. So here I come. I am in need of some "local advice" Where are easy in out high end Hotels, Nice places to eat, etc
I am also looking for a "tour guide" to possibly join me for dinner & fun of course. I do get bored eating alone while touring.

One thing is absolutely certain... since you are coming in just a week you may have difficulty in finding a high end hotel room in Midland/Odessa. They are in the middle of an oil boom and rooms are few and far between and very pricey. You should start looking today and either take what you can get or change your tour dates.

Expect to $200 to $300 an night. At lunch and dinner, places are packing with waiting out the door, and be careful on driving since places get backup by traffic.
Like today in Odessa, I took an hr at HEB to get some food to go, and get gas at filled at their pumps.
