Columbia Classmate Says Obama Is Bullying Him With the IRS To Keep Shut

We've reported on Wayne Allyn Root three times already this year. He graduated from Columbia the same year that Obama did but never met him. And says none of his friends had met him even though they supposedly graduated in the same major.

He was audited in 2011 but it resulted in no taxes being owed. And in unprecedented fashion, he is stuck with another two years of audits for 2009 and 2010.

The assertions by whackos like Root that Obama never attended Columbia have been factually refuted and are absurd.

And, with that, President Obama's motivation to call the IRS to make sure that Root gets audited every year goes out the window.

Root is a pyramid scheme huckster, sports handicapper (hence the IRS audits) and general nutjob who runs for Vice-President on the Libertarian ticket as a side-line. He's managed to keep his name in the headlines with his bogus "Nobody knew Obama at Columbia" schtick which, as the Snopes link shows, is an outright lie.

Most occupants of the White House don't add several thousands to the ranks of IRS agents and dramatically increase their scope and power. The IRS may not "take orders" but quid pro qua is very likely in this case.
