Default Most Reliable Pollster Has Romney Leading

Today's Rasmussen daily tracking poll has Romney in a slight lead over Obama, 44% to 43%. Rasmussen uses the most reliable sample group: likely voters. Most polls, like Fox News for instance, use the less reliable sample group of registered voters. A registered voter sample group is biased towards Obama. Most pollsters use a registered voter sample group instead of a likely voter sample, because it's a less expensive way to poll.

Also, Rasmussen shows that 6% are undecided. Undecided voters usually vote 80% for the challenger. That means, adjusted for undecided voters, Rasmussen has Romney over Obama by 49% to 43%.

Election day is going to be an early Christmas for Republicans.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

Monday, August 20, 2012
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 44% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

The data put together by "the very reliable Real Clear Politics" (Whirly's exact words, not mine) paint a dramatically different picture using electoral votes, as opposed to overall percentages. Hmmmmm, I wonder how they choose the POTUS? Is it by the overall percentage of votes or the electoral college.

Joe The Bloehard, why don't you do a little research and get back to us with the answer.

Don't screw up joe's day BT. I think he must cream his jeans when he reads those e-mails from the GOP.

Maybe this is like pulling the petals out of a daisy and doing the old "she loves me, she loves me not" thing.
The voters will keep pulling a Romney petal, and then a Obama petal, untill the last one is pulled. If it says Romney on election day, he wins. If it's Obama, he wins.

This is about as plausable as these stupid polls that are taken every 24 hours.
