Looks like the most transparent administration in history has refused to press criminal charges against any of the officers of MF Global and specifically will NOT be pressing charges against MF Global CEO and Obama bundler and former Dem Senator John Corzine.

For "some reason" the govt is going to pursue civil action, not criminal action even though $1.6 Billion of customer funds remain unaccounted for. I've also seen reports that key sign-offs from corporate officers for federal business regulation compliance weren't signed off or improperly signed off on.
But this may explain it better: MF Global employed the Eric Holder's law firm. WOW. Why isn't the media all over this?

MF Global's Treasurer is being repped by Holder's best friend.
HuffPo is almost APOLOGETIC for the relationships and ends on this paragraph:
This isn't to say it's a good thing for the Justice Department's leaders to have such close Wall Street ties. It's not, especially when the government has brought so few fraud prosecutions related to the financial crisis. Whoever wins the presidential election this fall, here's a suggestion: Find an attorney general who doesn't have these kinds of connections. It would go a long way toward restoring Americans' faith in the justice system.

Somehow MF Global client's accounts are expected to be "made whole." I wonder how much money that's going to cost the avg US taxpayer?
