That is a great old song. And I wouldn't argue with you even if it weren't. Hubba Hubba!

I have lots of favorites. Here are two, that I've loved for a long time. If you've never listened to the full length version of Michael Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" you should. I think Jackson Browne is the best singer songwriter of the last fifty years; "The Pretender" is one of his best.

Big Question:

One of my all time favorite: Song starts at 1.34 ! Hang in there for the encore.

That's great stuff. That sort of heartfelt patriotism may be dead. We have lost our innocence. This is the age of cynicism. Obama says he doesn't believe in American exceptionalism. The pursuit of coolness trumps all else.

I have a feeling Obama wouldn't have the same reaction to that video as the Tea Party folks.

You just linked to the current thread, I think. Either that, or I'm going nuts.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Holy crap! Pavarotti was a force of nature. That last note will break your crystal. Here's my favorite from Puccini. I think its one of the best melodies I've ever heard. They say Andrew Lloyd Weber steals from Puccini.
