Talking NOTORIOUS board members?????

Notorious.... this word of late has been used to describe certain board members. Who in the world might be "notorious" and more importantly why?

I think in the context it was being used in the few threads I've seen / it would be used for the combination of high post count , and big mouth!

GUILTY as charged !

The actual definition of "notorious" from Webster is "widely known and talked of," and from Dictionary.com as "publically or generally known, as for a particular trait." While the connotation is often unfavorable, it isn't necessarily negative.

Wakeup is notorious for his low opinion of BBW's.
Busty Amy is notorious for her attention-gaining threads.
Boardman is notorious for his cattiness.
Dallas Rain is notorious for just being Dallas Rain - and having the highest post count of any woman on ECCIE.

I'm probably notorious for something, maybe the humorous way I relate stories based on my experiences, maybe my shoe collection, maybe my affinity for chihuahuas, maybe my Irish schtick, maybe nothing at all, but in my own mind I'm infamous!

I am widely known and hailed far & wide for my marvelous deck. Resplindent with unique hardwoods & polished to a shimmering shine....

Or maybe because of those sexy RED glasses? Question? Are those guys boxers hanging from you super hot heels or big girl panties?

Maybe we should have an Oscar-like contest yearly for the most notorious poster, as voted on by the "Academy" members. We could call it the "Eccitorious," and the acceptee would be victorious, or inglorious. Give him or her a gold statue of a foot in mouth.

Like my redhead-with-red-specs librarian look, hmmm? Thank you! Those are actually silk boy-cut panties, girlie drawers similar to boxers but shorter and tighter, without the convenient "fly" openings. You can always just pull them aside.

I'm thinking (and I could be mixed up) that you might just be notorious for all those weapons you said you have up the walls in another thread. That sounded pretty darn notorious to me.

Toyz' drapes or mine? You'll have to take my word that my carpet matched the drapes, 'cause I had it tiled. Smooth groove.

It's just such a fun word to throw around. I liked it when EJL used it to make a point and I myself have been using since then as have some others also when making a point or just having some fun.

It sounds like Toyz installed hardwood floors so I'm guessing he wants to know if Toyz is bald or shaves his head.

You're correct; that was me. A few more trips to Renaissance festivals and my apartment will look like a medieval Irish armory. I intersperse the metal with dragon art, Celtic crosses, and high heels. (Hmmm, my 5-inch stilettos could be used as weapons in a pinch.)

I'm thinking you would have to be the one lady I'd break my out call rule for.
