They had no chance. Only one playing to form was Kobe and a 1 man show won't do it in the NBA

My team too. If Phil was still coaching he controls Kobe and this team would have rolled on. The Spurs would have been a big challenge but still would have been beat by the lakers. They are the only team that gets me to stay up until 1 am watching basketball. I remember the good old Canisius College days and their center Mike Smrek who went on to play with the Lakers a few years, with one of them being a championship year. He was also on the team with Magic when they played a preseason game at the Aud. I miss basketball here.
