Blended Wines.. yum!

To all you wine lovers out there! I have always been a red wine fan, merlot's, cabernet sauvignon's, Pinot Noir just to name a few. But I only recently tried a blended wine for the first time and wow talk about good! My daughter bought me a bottle of California Apothic Red and it was really good! This is the first time I have ever tried a blended wine and there seems to be a real art to mixing blended wines.

Anyone else have some favorites or have tried blended wines? What did you think?

Blended wines are like blanded scotch.. You just don't molest a good thing. I see it as taking a 55 year old Macallan and mixing it with sprite...

I've never tried a blend... I have slummed with blush, though.

I had a good friend that drank Ketel One, straight with a water chaser. He offered me some while hanging out one night (and I LOVE vodka) but I need it mixed with juice. He looked at me as if I suggested punching a puppy.
