It would be great to be able to meet before anything else...

I mean a glass of wine or lunch or coffee or anything in a public place to see if is a go or not...

I know that time is money... but this way would increase the safety on both parties....

Even if there is a "time fee", at the same time maybe some company for dinner / drinks.

Ideas?

All but 2 of the providers I have been with met me in a social setting before any BCD. Several others have done so as well and I will be seeing them in the future. The sessions I do with the ladies who have met me first have been far better every time than those I did not meet first. We get a chance to see if we click and not be strangers when we meet.

I understand why many ladies do not want to meet first. But I also know many who want to or even insist on it. I decided some time ago that I would not just cold call, as it were, a lady. Even if its just chat or email, I want to get to know who I am seeing first. The ladies who will meet me first, OTC, do a better job of filling my needs here. Its not a reflection on those who will not meet. Its just what I need to have the best time possible.

Bubba I also like to meet first but in most cases I have talked to them on the phone. NOT texting I like to hear her voice and find out if she has a sense of humor. I want her and I to end our get together with both of us happy.

I agree that it can be a great way to increase the mutual comfort level prior to any bcd activities, but communication is important. Unless you are prepared to pay for that "time", as well, make sure she understands that otc does not mean "over time charge".

eccl3 That I can settle while on the phone. One time I attempted to negotiate a date with an unnamed provider through emails and it ended up with her thinking I was a cheap SOB. I wanted to set up dinner and BCD activities of two hours. Her rate was like I wanted 4 hours of BCD. When I balked at the rate it all went down hill. I felt bad as I wanted to be with her as I had met her while with Melissa. I have a weekend scheduled with a provider for April to go to Scarborough Faire. We have spent a couple of weekends before and enjoy each others company. If I had the money I would set up a weekend at a casino with Dallas but things are tight right now.

I do that and pay for an hour, whether it goes slightly over or not is her choice. The two of you figure it out quickly, though.

After the first time it becomes the normal thing to do. I also enjoy taking a lady to Victoria's Secret or similar store and shop for some thing sexy. One fantastic lady is interested in science fiction like I am so we spent some time in a book store. Dallas and I had a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. She complained about my driving as I had her panties in my pocket and played while driving with one hand.

Time is money for the ladies no doubt. But sometimes a little investment of their time OTC at a meet and greet can lead to money.

Hell, a while back I was in chat with a lady and suggested a Starbucks at her leisure. (She wasn't my normal type, and being unsure I figured a quick M &G would help assure compatibility.) I was fully prepared to proceed BCD afterwards if we clicked. Her response was "What's in it for me?" Funny thing, she had been complaining about being all alone, and in need of a man. Her response promptly put her on my do not see list, and I immediately booked a session with one of my "regular" friends. So in this case, no time equalled no money for her.

But, every lady is entitled to run her business as she pleases....

There are ladies who offer public time only rates, but most don't because they feel there are no guarantees and it does tend to attract those who are already unsure of themselves. If you want to meet, do so. As a companion whose normal first dates are paid dinner dates with private time because of prior communications, I can assure you that decisiveness is a VERY attractive trait, and the best way to get the best of a provider.

I generally have this same thought and have met with a couple of new friends in a public setting before an appointment was ever scheduled. I definately dont mind meeting first.

I'm always up for drinks.. or dinner.. beforehand. Bubba can vouch for that. I love to even just hang out... meet and greet... here at my place. Watch some t.v. or a movie. Just as long as I get to meet who the person is on the other side of the handle.
